SavvyGuy is it possible to active back fs25 or 15dct because I would like to pull the trigger for jonah hex and robin hood bluray.

Quick question (probably not necessary), but when it says you are committed to buy 2 DVDs, blu-rays count towards that too right SavvyGuy?

Absolutely - blus and DVDs both count! I just went in and clarified that in the copy - thanks for pointing it out.

If it was shipped out before they ceased operations then you're good but if not then you'd likely have to talk to your credit card company to get the money back.

I just called the 1-800 number for chcanada.com and it still works but the "speak to a rep" option sends you to a voice mailbox. The address they quote on their message is the same one as mentioned in the stories about the layoffs and bankruptcy so I think they are out of business as well.

I wonder how long before the bankruptcy trustees start trying to collect balances owing from people or maybe they won't at all.

It's not a case of going into bankruptcy protection - it's a case of immediately ceased operations. It sounds like they were all let go so there is nobody to order from.

I ordered Clash Of The Titans from cineetcie.ca back on Nov 12th, and emailed them about a week ago to ask if had even shipped. Guess I'm not getting a reply now. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge without any issue.

Please be advised that on December 9, 2010, DB Media, DB Media Distribution (Canada) (formerly The Columbia House Company (Canada)) and their related partners (hereafter referred to collectively as “DB Media”) were assigned into bankruptcy in Canada. Alvarez & Marsal Canada Inc. (“A&M Canada”) was appointed Trustee in Bankruptcy (“Trustee”) of DB Media’s estate.

As a consequence of the bankruptcy, we regretfully inform you that DB Media will not be fulfilling any customer orders through its book and DVD clubs as of December 9, 2010 as the Canadian operations have ceased. The bankruptcy of the Canadian operations was taken in response to poor economic conditions.
