Long beards are a show of manliness, nothing less. I have a hard time trusting a man without some sort of beard. Men with longer beards are the most trustworthy and coolest people you'll meet. I can't get behind being clean shaven. I feel like a prepubescent boy. I also have no hair so I need something to equalize my look. Just so happens I can grow a mean beard. I also don't really get how having a beard is all of a sudden a "trend". Men have been growing beards since the dawn of man.

I disagree with that statement. It takes confidence to grow a long beard. It takes as much maintenance as any woman with their hair. Or man who puts time into their hair (of which I have none, wasn't blessed with a good hairline). Just because you have a beard, doesn't mean you don't care for hygiene. That's a pretty absurd statement.

I'm incapable of growing a beard. I've tried it before because I hate shaving but it's very patchy and never fills in, and never seems to grow any good length. So I just keep one of those circle beard deals that's like a mustache that connects around the sides of your mouth to a goatee. The rest I shave once a week and usually just with a beard trimmer to leave some stubble, but I'll give it a full shave if I need to look really clean for something.

I’m wondering what’s gonna happen with one of my coworkers. He had another incident with one our machines yesterday. I think my supervisor is tired of this stuff happening and is why I’m wondering if something permanent will happen.
