I think we can all agree that the Hitchcock covers that Nissen has created are up there with his best work (the Bond covers), they are without a doubt the best Hitch covers period.

I've commissioned him to carry on with Psycho, North By Northwest, To Catch A Thief, Foreign Correspondent and The 39 Steps which will obviously be shared when complete.

No slight to any of the other very talented artists here, but taken as a whole, I think Fritz's work is pretty much the best custom cover work out there.

I will be very curious to see what he comes up with for "To Catch A Thief". I have attempted something for that film myself recently and after hours of searching and working, still can't come up with anything that I'm satisfied with.

Man, Nissen's covers make my Hitchcock covers look like crap.

I'm sure I'll revise them one day...

Excellent job, sir!

Oh c'mon, Scott. Your covers look great on my shelf.

That doesn't mean I won't replace them, though .

[Show spoiler]

Like I said earlier, I have the permission of the original client to make further covers in the series for other patrons.
The remaining covers (thanks, Rizor):
  • The 39 Steps
  • Dial M For Murder
  • Foreign Correspondent
  • The Lady Vanishes
  • The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934)
  • North by Northwest
  • Notorious
  • Psycho
  • Rebecca
  • Spellbound
  • Strangers on a Train
  • To Catch a Thief

So far only Strangers on a Train is spoken for, so if you want to see the others done, PM me for info.

I'm looking for a custom cover (but using what Criterion used) of Fantastic Mr. Fox, Sweet Smell of Success, Slacker, Red River, Ace in the Hole, and Nashville. I'm looking to put the digipacks into regular criterion cases but I need the art. Does anyone know where I could find these to print? Oh, also Dr. Strangelove and Citizen Kane which I realize are not criterions. Thanks to anyone who can help. I've looked at many of the custom sites and haven't seen the original bluray covers for these.

I'm pretty sure I remember someone putting a Fantastic Mr. Fox Criterion cover somewhere in this forum a month or so back. But I don't remember who.

Just a quick update on the Hitchcock collection. I will be sending out PMs this afternoon to those who requested copies.
Several members have expressed interest in further Hichcock covers, and as of right now these are the only six not adopted:
  • Dial M For Murder
  • The Lady Vanishes
  • The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934)
  • Rebecca
  • Spellbound
Edit: Boomstick 316 alerted me to the following titles available outside the U.S:
  • The Lodger (UK)
  • Lifeboat (UK)
  • Downhill (Spain)

edit: Notorious is now off the table.

luckyman was responsible for an awesome Fantastic Mr. Fox cover.

To add to this, there's also The Lodger (UK), Lifeboat (UK) and Downhill (Spain).

I'd love to see them all added but am currently too broke to contribute funds. Hopefully, this will change in the coming months.

Amazing covers Nissen! PM sent for Red Sonja, I have the Region Free UK edition, I would gladly replace the cover with this one!!

I have one to share!

This is an "almost identical" cover for Poirot - Series 12. If, like me, you have the first releases (Poirot: Murder on the Orient Express and Poirot: Movie Collection Set 6), you can collect the discs in a 4-Disc Blu-ray case and add this cover.

Note that I don't own the Re-Release edition of Poirot - Series 12 cover and I did the best I could to reproduce the cover, with some differences (Numbers of Discs, Back Pictures and AQ Settings).

My first from Nissen in a fair while, I'm a fan of the poster art of many musicals and this was the next on my list. He's done a fantastic job, yet again.
