You'll need lots of those motes of light for the Trials of Osiris... If you lose 3 matches, you're out and have to buy your way back in with motes of light.

I actually like doing public events for marks as they don't require my attention 100% like a ROC strike. Just check the public events website, go to the area, wait a few mins, complete the event, repeat. I usually do this in the evenings when I'm on my Vita and watching TV/catching up on shows with the wifey. Now I have even more reason to do events. Thanks for the tip!

I played a weekly strike last night (Septics Prime iirc) level 24 enemies and I died eight times?! Never died that much at a level 24 strike before. Since this last update are the enemies tougher? Or I guess I just sucked last night but the enemies were killing us left and right.

I'm the same way. I'll go to the spot and just sit down. I jump on my iPad and return work emails until I hear the rumble of it starting. I find myself caring about Public events a lot more since Adam told me you could buy materials for upgrading your weapons. I was sick to death of driving in and out of caves looking for helium filaments.

The Weekly and Nightfalls are always harder than the basic strike. If you need help running it, let me know. Dodger_Blue311 is my PSN. Still don't think you added me yet.

Exactly why I use this method to cap off vanguard marks before a reset as I hate cave grinding and I often use the marks for materials. My Hunter was at 58 marks Sunday night, so I jumped on the Vita while plopped on the couch watching a movie. I was at 100 in what seemed like no time.

We were so close by the time you guys left I don't think it was more than 5-10 mins. that we got out of the gorgon area (it was just Dodger and I). But yeah the time diff stinks during the week. A lot of the time I'm still working when you eastern guys are starting.
