I have it and really like it, the stories good too. Like others have said the 3D is very good, I especially like it when the vagabond gets chased on the roof of the train.

I had viewed the movie with the old "red/blue" plastic glasses, which was very poor 3D, so I didnt hold much hope. This is So much better.

Having seen both, I would rate ACC better than TPE in 3d imagery but that's just me. TPE is still a quality 3d.

2 scenes that popped are the one that Ronald mentioned about train sticking out to hit you when emergency brake was first used, and the other was the hat thrown towards the end.

So relieved to see a limited steel-case edition for $16 coming this mid October. Will be using this chance to get the movie for cheap.

EDIT: Nevermind. Though I still have this under pre-order, I might cancel it since I completely forgot that this might not be the same 3D release as last years. Based on the given information here, it's just the same HD-DVD port with lossy audio just with the new cover from last years. I could be wrong but it makes sense. Why would Warner go thru the trouble in re-releasing this movie with an upgraded lossless audio codec?

Sigh.

I bought it in Australia and it worked fine on my PC, didn't change the region coding. It must be either all regions or region B, but I couldn't find where it says so on the back.
I don't know if this helps, because I might have a different copy from what you're looking at. But it was $20 or less when I got it from Sanity.

Yep, it's almost time to break out A Christmas Carol and Polar Express. It's nice to have folks over any time to watch a movie but especially so during the winter holidays.

Default 3D Glasses

Make sure you guys watch this movie using Visual World's 3D glasses. Very stylish and comfortable and make the 3D experience a great one. Can work with passive 3D TV's as well as the movie theatres. Tell me another pair of 3D glasses that can do that!

hmmm. you're not here ummm... advertising are you, visualworldproducts?

And for the record pretty much any reald, vizio, LG, generics work in theaters and on passive tvs.
And XPands will work with many active tv's and some movie theaters.

Wanted to respond something like that but didn't have enough knowledge to back it up Glad someone did though, it's not allowed to use the forums for advertising. Which is good since it would probably make it unusable!

At the moment, the price rang everywhere is going to be around $40. It's ridiculous. This is why I'll be importing this from Amazon.co.uk. The 3D combo pack UK release (28th of Nov this year) will be approx. $20 USD, though there's a chance you'll be asked to pay import fees at the door.

Anyway, I'm hoping it's region free with no PAL trailers. Even after that PS3 update, Son of Rambow blu-ray still won't work. i'm hoping this movie doesn't have that same fate.
