Do NOT let harry potter be your first 3D you watch, it's pretty bad. I started watching it in 3d and after 10 minutes just put it on 2d. Other 2 are great though

All just arrived in the mail today - Alice 3D from eBay seller, Sammy's Adventure 3D from Hong Kong, and the rest from Amazon...

Game of Thrones Season 1 is not in 3D, of course...

Lol! No, sorry, not interested - I'm not into fancy packaging or extras, as I'm not a collector at all. I'm strictly a movie-only type person and that is it. My personal preference would be that all blu-rays came packaged bare-bones, single disc, no DVD, no digital copy, no slip cover, no menus, no previews, no extras, no BD live, and packaged only in those 5mm thin-pak blu-ray cases so they don't take up so much dang room on my media shelf... then I'd be completely happy!

So which projector did you get?

Thanks, Steelerik - if you checked my gallery photos, I guess you saw I had a flood in my basement theater during Tropical Storm Lee back in September... so I took advantage of the rebuilding effort and added a lot of new features, like the wall columns and light sconces. I'm still working on the repairs though, even as we speak - right now I'm cutting and nailing baseboard around the last two wall columns (what a pain cutting all those angles!), and I just took a break to check the forums!

I just got a pair of 3D glasses a couple weeks ago after purchasing a new tv, and this is my Blu-Ray 3D collection so far:

Haven't watched TinTin or Beauty and the Beast yet, but of the others, Hugo is definitely the star of the show, in terms of 3D quality.

Well if you don't mind me asking, would you be interested in selling the slipcover for Sammy's adventures then?

Default 3 new purchases

I ordered Flying Monsters 3D from Amazon UK. It was $18.14 (US) including shipping. I also picked up Sea Rex today at Fry's for $21.99, and ordered Gulliver's Travels 3D for $13.99. ($13.29 with 5% RedCard discount).

I really don't care whether I have the cover or not, but to me slip covers really aren't worth enough to bother going to all the trouble of mailing them out to someone. Getting $5 or so for a slip cover and then having to package it up ever so specially so it doesn't get damaged (because slip cover collectors are anal about the tiniest blemish) just ain't worth the effort to me. I absolutely hate packing stuff up for shipping.

On Another note, my Kung Fu Panda 3D and KFP2 3D blu-rays just arrived in the mail yesterday, so I am now up to 30 3D movies in my collection, in just 6 weeks!

Hey FreyTheater3D! About Kung Fu Panda 1&2, do they come with french subtitles? Not just if it's written on the back but when you play the disk too? The french wave of dreamworks 3d had a lot of subtitles issues (listed on the back but when you select them manually, nothing shows) so i'd like to import. thanks

Well, I'll have to let you know, my copies are still sealed on my shelf, and I'm not sure when I'll play them. According to the covers:

KFP - Audio: English 5.1 TrueHD, French/Spanish/Portuguese Dolby Digital 5.1
Subtitles: English/French/Spanish/Portuguese

KFP2 - Audio: English 7.1 TrueHD, French/Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1
Subtitles: English/French

That thread is supposed to be about the complete collections and not just latest haul, though it has gone somewhat towards the second. Either way this thread has a lot more pics in it and I like it that way!
