Are you kidding? Vanilla Ice is awesome! Weren't you paying attention to the film? His reaction to seeing humanoid turtles fighting dog and snapping turtle monsters is coming up with an awesome rap about ninjas ON THE SPOT. That's badass.

TMNT III, on the other hand...
OK, I will go on record (and probably incite a riot calling for my execution) as saying that while I despise most of "Ooze," I actually enjoy part III. There is not much that I can say concerning the failings of Ooze that has not already been said (i.e. dumbing down the fighting, the "bass-a$$ monsters" looking like Power Rangers rejects, etc), except to say that it completely jumped the shark when the Vanilla crapper guy showed up . At least part III had a decent story (not original by any means, nor particularly well written), and it's major failings (for me) were the fact that Henson's Creature Shop bowed out with Ooze, and the person that said it was just a live action version of the cartoon hit the proverbial nail on the head. The light-hearted, kiddie-friendly aspect is not a bad thing in itself, but if Henson's shop would have come back, and the script would have retained the edgy nature of the first one, it would have been much, much better. All-in-all, I am glad to have I and III, and II is useful to keep soda rings off the coffee table (kinda like Jurassic Park: The Lost World)...my 2 cents

I like all three films because of one reason: they were part of my childhood. I loved them as a kid. Sure they may not have a great screenplay, but there are some things worth seeing them.

But I was a huge fan growing up anyway. I had tmnt toys and pajamas. A few of my birthdays had tmnt theme going on. I watched the cartoons every Saturday morning. The Turtles are awesome.

I would agree. What really made the third film suck was the dialogue. All those crappy jokes! "What did you expect? The Addams Family?"

And they brought back Casey Jones, who was criminally absent from the second film, only to have him sit back and baby sit the samurai soldiers throughout most of the film.

About the only things that I did like about it was the "sunset" poster and the use of the "Tarzan Boy." A really bad song being the most positive thing I can come up with, that's pretty bad!

I would love to see the first film re-issued with REAL features.

Casey Jones rocked in the first film! My favorite scene is the encounter with him and Raphael at the park.

"Class is Pain 101. Your instructor's Casey Jones!"

I was appalled to see him relegated to babysitting duties in the third film.

I am a HUGE fan of 80's music, and Tarzan Boy is quite an awesome song (especially the extended mix ).

I went back to Wal-Mart and got lucky as the Triple Feature stand was re-stocked. I still had to dig behind the other films, but came across several Turtles triples features. I grabbed one for me and another for a gift.

Is it available online in the US? The Wal-Mart near where I live is really sketchy and I'd like to avoid having to go there.

It's available in-store at Wal-Mart and Future Shop as well, for $15.

You could always use a reloadable prepaid debit; that way, its not connected to your bank, so there's less of a risk with overspending.

These blu-rays are on a special PDQ of triple-features, if it's not in or in front of the electronics dept then it would prob be at the front of store area. I work in electronics at walmart and ours only had bout 5 or 6 of the TMNT sets.

My local FS shipment was late so that's why they did not have them in when I went and looked. I am going back next Friday to pick it up, I got an employee to hold one aside for me.

This is a good idea, thanks for pointing it out to me. A while back I had the idea one of these for Netflix, then I found out Netflix does not except these.
At the time I never thought of using one for online purchases.

I became turned off by the idea of a prepaid CC at the time, due to the monthly cost of owning one. I was told u have to have some money on the card at all times.

Pay a monthly fee for each month you have the card, and pay every time you load money onto the card. After hearing all this I just forgot about getting one altogether.

I might look into it again in the future, due to you reminding me they are around.

That's like the best part of the film. :p Makes me LOL every time.

To think the filmmakers originally wanted Professor Perry to enter into a bathroom in the club and reveal himself to be an Utrom. Can't even imagine the confusion and uproar when kids in the theater exclaim, "Kraaaaaaaaaaaang!!!!!"

I dunno, I hated Secret of the Ooze for the longest time, and that was even before I became a fan of the comics (which was only three years ago). Loved the movie as a kid, sure, but it got dull and stupid in my teen years when I revisited it. Always loved the first movie, and I wouldn't realize till much later how faithful of an adaptation it is of the original comics.

But once I got over the fact it's just not meant to really be a faithful sequel, and I started embracing all things Ninja Turtles (yes, I even like The Next Mutation; something is terribly wrong with me), I fell in love with the movie all over again just accepting it for what it is.

I can't do that with the third flick, though. It's the worst of the worst; I get more entertainment out of the Christmas special than this movie. I suppose it's because nothing—NOTHING—about the movie is very Ninja Turtley. :p The Angry Video Game Nerd is spot-on as to why that movie sucks so much.
