The club is offering the 3D/2D combination pack, and it's actually listed unlike The Little Mermaid 3D. Maybe Disney is learning from the Oz: the Great and Powerful debacle.

Just making sure to those who know more...

There are no special features only found in the 3D combo right?

The 3D in Iron Man 3 turned out good, and liked the movie, so will definitely get it on blu 3D.

I'm holding off my pre-order till i hear about any news of any exclusives each retailer will be doing when it comes out. Plus you know Disney will be doing the usual coupon for the 3D set, which i intend to buy. I guess for now, its all about a matter of waiting.

I've seen some Iron Man 3D Steelbooks listed on Ebay from other countries . I wonder if BB will have the exclusive on those here in the US...? Wal Mart has been getting some 3D releases with steelbooks lately as well

We always seem to get Marvel early. I watched my copy yesterday...

Meanwhile, I have to wait until next month for Star Trek, which is already out in the States...

Oh really? Don't know what I've been reading... Anyway, we get ours on the 18th.

In Oz, 9/10 means the ninth of October, but I get what you're saying!

Saw this again on Blu-ray 3D yesterday. The 3D was ok, but The Avengers definitely had the superior 3D conversion.

Default aspect ratio

I got this today on blu ray and have only just started watching it.

It seems they have made a mistake with the aspect ratio. It is listed at 1:78 on the back, but it it is actually 2:40.

A strange mistake to make I think, and it would have also been better if it was full screen. Anyway will probably post a review when Im finished.

The film was 2.40 theatrically, so they just made a mistake on the packaging.
