Yes and this matte finish on popular movies is a real dampener to me.

I wish they came out with one in the states. They just got the regular versions here tho. And I think the one from zavvi is overpriced.

Would've been better with a gloss finish but still looks great. Hope the UK version has a lenticular as well. Should be similar to the Looper FS steelbook with some nice back and interior artwork. Can't wait to receive it!

Matte finishes on Steelbooks are much nicer and preferred for my interests in steelbook editions. I don't like the glossy ones as much.

Glossy = fingerprint magnet.

I think the dude is referring to the lenticular printing, which I suspect will not look good. I much prefer the look of metallic silver on the HMV/Zavvi Looper.

I preordered this thru Zavvi. Their version isn't out until 4/29.

The question is... what's under the lenticular card?

The Looper Futureshop steel front cover is vastly different from the lenticular card covering it.

Not sure I'm a fan of how they keep that secret and everyone basically blind buys a steelbook having no idea what the front cover is.

Seems like a relatively important thing that buyers should know.

I would imagine it would just be the same art as on the card. At least I hope so. Every other 3D steel I've seen released in EU has anyway.

It's the same. I just saw a pic of the steel without the card within the last 30 minutes but can't find the thread at the moment

So it's a definite that this will become the UK's first ever lenticular steel then?

For people in the UK.

Looks like this will also be available at Tesco... for £22.00.

Don't expect to see this in stores, the last steelbook we sold in Tesco was Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and I don't think there was ever one before that in store at Tesco.
