Wow, why all the dumping on Swordfish? Again, different strokes. I actually liked Swordfish for what it was - a mindless, fun ride. It had "passable" numbers on IMDb and BRDC and the audience numbers were way better than the critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The sad thing, for me, was that Monster's Ball, which I loathed, was rated a point higher on I&B and the audience-critic thing was reversed on RT. Like I said, different strokes (sorry, but popcorn loyalty required a defensive response).

... and it brought us Berry's berries! It's a huge event of cultural significance, and was life-changing at the time. So it's cheesy now, the berries aren't and it's a lot easier to sit through than Monsters Ball if you want/need some berries.

Thank you to those who responded to my question. However, as I understand it the anthology set has 5 discs, while the new batman set has 4, so I presume there might be differences in content.

The fifth disc is a Digital Copy disc for Batman (1989). It's probably expired anyway by now since Warner supports UV/Flixster.

I think it expired in 2009 or 2010.

Ah. Thank you for clearing that up. If otherwise the sets are the same, then I'll definitely go with the new one. It's a good thing I haven't bought any of the movies yet.

The discs are identical to the Anthology set at about half the price. It's a no brainer.

I did see the Lethal Weapon 4-Film set at the BB in Soquel and didn't bother to ask if it were the corrected versions or not.
I'm importing the Lethal Weapon set from the UK anyway. So are WB going to match watch they're doing for their 4-Film Favorites DVD sets to Blu-ray then?

How would they know?

I saw the Madison Heights, MI store had some LW sets out today too.

BestBuy.com has been hammered with 1-star reviews of the LW sets.

It's not something they could fix that quickly. The supplier will have to check their entire supply and WB will have to check out what happened.

Went to Best Buy today and was told that they had not put them out yet, but are going to soon. So, I just bought it online and am having the Batman Collection shipped.

Definitely beats the Batman Anthology, I hate the packaging choices for that one, and this will save room, and is insanely cheaper. I'm good to go! (:

Wish they would have done a Superman one.
I think it is a great buy for those who did not get the Anthology Set. Hopefully the discs will not get scratched because they are double stacked.

If there are four individual cases, how can there be stacked discs - each movie was a single disc release?

Batman Anthology -- individual cases for each movie

Batman 4-Film Collection -- stacked discs (see OP)

Yeah, I've seen the OP, thank you. But you said "Individual Cases" which, especially for folks new to the thread, is confusing, yes? I haven't seen that particular release and the picture could be/is misleading. Sorry, I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, I have a toothache and am on meds - but, perhaps, it would be better to say : One case > Stacked Discs.

She was replying to someone who said the new set is better than the Batman Antrhology. So she's saying the individual (slim cases) from the Anthology are better than having stacked discs in this new Batman 4 film favorites set
