2015 will be the greatest year for films.
I think Hodder returning will be the only saving grace that hard ass fans have towards the found footage route. |

I wish they would reboot the series from part 4/5. I like the original part 5 but that's where the series began its decline.
I'd love to see a part five remake, maybe a film following up on Tommy Jarvis, or initially without Jason but then work him in. Or a Part 5 reboot with Jason in the snow. Snow opens up so many new kill possibilities. It's not like the franchise has any continuity integrity, put some mountains in the background and put some campers skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, etc. Or gives us a Jason Takes Manhattan reboot. but I'd rather see the series restarted from its peak. |

[Show spoiler] I liked the movie, and I think it probably would have worked as a full found footage movie, but I don't think it would work for Jason. I'm pretty sure there's a difference between teenagers filming their murders and a legendary horror icon chasing his victims in the woods with a video camera. It doesn't sound right in a sentence, so it probably wouldn't look right on the big screen. |

Found footage I actually would be interested in. Not what I would prefer, but I wouldn't be quick to shun it. Most of the Friday the 13th movies were just bad anyways in my opinion, Part 4 and Freddy vs. Jason were the only good ones. I thought the remake was decent. It put the first 3 movies into one and it didn't seem rushed. I've been wondering why they never made a sequel, it was way more enjoyable than the Elm street sh*t remake.

Where is confirmation that it will be another reboot? I found this, but it's possible that their plans could have changed. Does anybody have a link or proof or something that it will for sure be a reboot?
