A bit disappointed they won't be including a DVD copy. My parents love these comic films and don't go to the theater all that much so I usually give them my DVD copies for all films that come with them.

Very dull, to say the least. I would have watched it in 2D, but 3D was the only way for me to watch in Dolby Atmos

The price will, of course, go down to at least 30% off if not more during release week. Oddly enough, this was $27.99 just the other day, and went up $8.

This. Though there is one advertised as Blu-ray + DVD here on this site, but its not showing in Amazon.

To my knowledge, the 2D version is one BD and the 3D version is two BDs. I believe the version/s you are talking about was/were entered into the database before the actual details were released.

agreed. thanks Disney. I always let my nephew use the dvd. never thought that I would say this but I want a DVD in the package. its like Disney's always trying to figure out a way to short change the customer. charge the same but drop some of the product. lame. time to call and complain.

Not necessarily directing this at you, but boy people are never happy. Everyone complains that DVDs are still included in combo packs, yet when I studio removes them there's people complaining that they took them out.

Here's the problem, the prices barely dropped! At this price, I'd want my DVD back.

Disney charges me more than another company which gives me more content. Cheap jerks. I always liked having dvds for back-up or loaners. What I'm really worried about is that horrible cover art for the 1-disc Blu-ray. Hopefully that is TBA because if it's final I'm going to get the 3D version and just end up paying more money for something I'm not even going to use for a better box. Disney really sucks at customer relation.

You could probably sell the 3D disc(assuming you can't use it) for $10, easily in the trading forum, and recoup a good portion of your money.
So, in a way, Disney is providing you with viable options.

Yeah that's a good Idea. I really have no use for the 3D copy. I really have no plans on getting a 3D TV or 3D Blu-Ray Player so I might as well try to regain some of the money Disney really over charges people for.
