I'll still check it out, but I doubt this will be anywhere near as good as the original. I hope it's still a decent new series. I'm glad the original VA for Sailor Moon is returning.
Being more direct from the manga, I can almost guarantee that it will be better than the original. As much as I love the original series, even the live-action series ended up handling the story and characters better than the original anime.

A guilty pleasure anime of mine since junior high when it hit syndicated TV and even watched it in high school on Toonami and saw the uncut fansub tapes later on.

I had a thing for some of the chicks when i was a teenager like Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Pluto etc. and thought they were hot.

I'll definitely get this one and the sets.

They said this fall, so I can see it coming in November. Based on what Viz has planned for release June and onward.

Bleach: Set 21 DVD - June 3
Pokémon Black & White - Rival Destinies: Set 3 DVD - June 17
Ranma 1/2 Blu-ray Set 2 - June 24

Naruto Shippuden: Set 19 DVD - July 8
Vampire Knight DVD - July 29
Bleach Movies 1-2 Double Feature DVD (Memories of Nobody/Diamond Dust) - July 29

Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit Blu-ray - August 26

Blood Lad Blu-ray - September 2
Pokémon - Black and White Adventures in Unova: Set 1 DVD - September 23

Bleach: Set 22 DVD - No release date was on Amazon before the whole WB problem. Possible September release date.
Ranma ½: LE Blu-ray Boxset 3 - No release date was on Amazon before the whole WB problem. Can see a September/October release date.
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet Blu-ray - No release date but confirmed for a 2014 release.

They meant the first set of the original series. I can see it coming in October myself.

Yeah, I could see perhaps a October or November release date.

It's been airing for a couple of weeks now. Two new episodes every Monday on Hulu. Unless you don't count Internet television as "real" television?

Not the new series-I'm talking about the old series-season 1 specifically.

Press Release from Viz. It's their Anime Expo schedule. They're going to show two episodes of the dubbed version of Sailor Moon, with the new voice cast and the new re-master, and they will show the 1st episode of Sailor Moon Crystal. New dub cast will be there as well.

Awesome! I hope when they show this they give us an official release date or at least an estimate of when we should expect this.

It really annoys me that the logo is so close to the subtitles, and even blocks them sometimes.

The logo could be closer to the edge of the picture, but noooooo!

yeah, that's one of the main reasons I finally dropped television completely two years ago - I was totally fed up with all the crap they put up on the screen during the shows. Channel logos, rating logos, in-show pop-up ads, ticker-tapes... that and the fact that most stuff on television is shit. I now have zero TV in my house, and don't miss it one bit.

And it doesn't help when services like Hulu Plus have these logos. Even when you drop cable for streaming, this crap still comes up. I watch mostly HBO, so I don't get bothered with logos. Today I saw The Purge and Ted back-to-back on HBO GO and it was an interesting combination of movies. Go from a movie about killing to a movie about some dude lucky enough to be dating Mila Kunis

Well, I don't do any online streaming, either, except a few random series of what little anime is on Netflix, which I have on my living room TV for my two teen girls. And YouTube has got to be the absolute worst for ads and pop-up crap on the screen. They just totally went insane with ads.

Try AdBlock. Thanks to various ad-blocking plugins over the years I haven't seen advertising online for almost a decade.
