I will buy the PS4 for this one game (and it's not even my favorite Final Fantasy) if Sony doesn't **** it up.

For me Advent Children works where it is in the timeline after the world had been ripped apart- dark and bleak- but when everything is going to be on a grey-scale most of the time in the game, that's hard to look at when you know it's supposed to be a bright(er) world with more color. No it should not look like Disney World (er Kingdom Hearts) but it should not look like Fallout either. I don't hate it- I just feel this game is going to 50% different from the way it was thanks to Advent Children. I don't hate AC either I just don't think it FFVII remake should be more like AC. It's just where SE is headed.

Like I said I hope I'm wrong but I have a deep feeling I'm not.

Didn't see this coming...until I clicked to check otu the live stream on comingsoon.net and it was conveniently playing the trailer for the remake. Didn't see it coming. But it's the version I'll be playing.

The press release lists PS4 and calls it a full remake. No mention of anything else.

Rumors are saying it'll be console exclusive to ps4, and PC being the only additional platform. That'd be HUGE for Sony.

They probably got so much hate mail from fans after they pulled that bullsh** last year with the upscaled port of the original game that probably forced them to finally make the remake, lol.

The crowd went absolutely nuts when that trailer hit in the theater. Of course it also came on the heels of the WTF Final Fantasy Universe trailer too.
