I didn't think it was possible either, but the ghosting was so bad that I was finding myself feeling grateful that the 3D in the film was so conservative, otherwise it would have been unwatchable. I should have asked for my money back really...

That actually sounds like more of an issue polarising the images correctly. Did you try tilting your head? Not that you should have to, but that would help tell you what was up.

Watched the blu of this tonight. As a film it is technically a better film then the first, however it very much so feels like a fill in film between the first avengers film and a yet to be released avengers film.

Likewise the 3d was overall better then in the first film, but it never matches the final act in avengers. I really wish marvel would bite the bullet and go native though. Can you imagine either of these films with 3d photography on par with Hugo? That would be amazing. Not that it is bad, it is very good. Just not the reference that it really could easily afford to be.

How are the special features on this? Is it true that Joss Whedon's cut wasn't included?

Technically, the theatrical cut was his cut. And no extended version is here :/

Best Buy 3D Steelbooks priced at $19.99, probably why Amazon dropped it's price.

With the 3D edition going down to $19.99 just before release I am wondering whether it was a wise choice for me to pre-order Phase 2 Collection for $174.99 or not.

I can never remember how it goes with Best Buy. If I pre-ordered the steelbook at $29.99 and it drops to $19.99 at release, they will automatically adjust it on their end right? Target is the one that gives you issues?

Edit: n/m answered my own question

I've had to call them twice in the past month due to them overcharging me for my preorders. They billed me five dolalrs more than their own ad for Fury Road 3d and ten dollars more than their own ad for Arrow season three and Flash season one, so ymmv?

Really surprised to see this opening in 3D blu ray for 19.99. I was expecting 27.99, but this is welcome.

Because Kids are in school during the week and they want to bring the cash in for the weekend. Its kinda hard to tell your kid no since it will be the weekend.

If I recall it all started with twilight so you can blame them. Since then a few films do it every now and then. Seriously this is why.

I was going to wait for BF, to hopefully pickup the 3D combo pack for $19.99.
Now, happily, I can scratch this flick off my BF shopping list.

Since there is no disc content exclusivity and no package exclusivity aside from Best Buy, I will more than likely pick up the 3d version (no 3d tv but its 19.99) from Walmart around midnight since its a 5 minute drive from my house.

If this is anything like that one... I'd rather pay $20 now than wish I had later when it's $37. 3D surcharge really suxs... as the standard Avengers went down to $10 numerous times on Blk Friday & in the months following.

Anyway. I am having a hard time deciding between the one pictured above and the between the 2 steelbooks (Vision & Ultron) all are $19.99 @ Best Buy again - all 3D.
I know so many bought Ultron last time for pre-order which makes me think I should consider Vision just in case it's more valuable later not like I would sell it either.
Any body have strong thoughts or feelings to share about which of the 3 - 3D versions seems best. I don't know of any differences in content. I am searching on this site to find that out when I stumbled in here.

You'd better decide somewhat quickly.

Shipping isn't available on either of them, and it's not a given that store pick-up will be available anywhere near you. I've preordered, and am going to have to drive a bit to pick it up.

So Target, even if just a downloadable thing, actually has a feature exclusive. Guess I have to wait till 8 am the day of to buy it. Anyone know if it will be 19.99 there or the 24.99 listed on the site now?

Why am I even contemplating buying this when I didn't for the Target Ticket exclusive for Guardians? TT never worked for me so that is why I didn't get it but maybe since they are gone, this will....only logic I can come up with.
