Just caught it on Screen Rant. Nice. It deserves a second season.

And according to the Hollywood Reporter, it's for a full season of 22 episodes, too.

I waited to start watching this. We just finished episode 5 last night and we (me and the missus) are really enjoying it. They have done a really good job and the actors are all doing a great job. Glad its back for a second season and hopefully a Blu Ray release.

Amen. It's on UV for Vudu already.

So is it a good thing, or a bad thing, that there are so many references/sight gags to other movies in this series (not even nods to the original Lethal Weapon movies).

The Bulletproof comments (Bulletproof - the movie)
Comments about cheap seats (pretty sure from The Last Boy Scout)
The baby in a stroller by the escalator (nod from Untouchables)

I just can't tell if they're putting them in because they're kind of cool, or if they need to fill the time, or if I'm reading too much into them.

But, to me anyway, too much of these things detracts from the show.
It's like seeing the number 1138 in a show, whether it's a badge number, home address, or whatever...it reminds people (well some people) of Star Wars and pulls the audience out of the show for a split second.

Well, two of those nods you mentioned were for Damon Wayans movies (Bulletproof with him and Adam Sandler, and then The Last Boy Scout with him and Bruce Willis). I think if they keep them subtle, then it can pay very small tribute to those action flicks.

I don't think they need to bother with the Lethal Weapon movies since the show does center around it.

As long as the show is doing good to be entertaining and keep people coming back, that's what counts.

Normally I don't watch this show, but I tuned in last night because one of my favorite actors was a part of it. His name is Matt Passmore and this was my first time seeing him play a bad guy. I can't wait to see him in next week's episode. His character I guess is the man who took out Martin's wife.

God bless you and Matt always!!!

That was one of my favorite episodes of this first season. I would love to see next week's finale allow Riggs to finally put his past behind him so that next season he can start moving forward.

I didn't even catch the first two. (Never seen Bulletproof and only saw The Last Boy Scout once many years ago.) The baby stroller part reminded me of The Untouchables but it was stylistically different enough that it didn't bother me. Besides, that moment itself in The Untouchables was an homage to the Russian silent film Battleship Potemkim.

Been waiting before I commented on this latest episode but it's, by far, the best episode of the season. I knew it was only a matter of time before Riggs became completely unhinged and seeing his ex-Father-in-Law sign off on Riggs moving forward after what happened to Miranda was a nice touch. This episode makes up for the abysmal episode of the recast of Leo Getz. Well, not necessarily his recasting but the way in which he was portrayed.

Tonight is S1 finale, I wonder now that there will be a S2 if it'll have a cliff hanger?

Enjoyed the season finale a lot, although
[Show spoiler]I kind of didn't like how Riggs's former father-in-law turned out to be sort of involved in what went down in Texas. Although it certainly worked to make us feel the sense of betrayal Riggs must have felt.
And I swear, during that torture scene near the end I was just waiting for the guy doing the electric shock treatment to be called Endo.

The first season is $25 for HDX on Vudu currently. It has the first 13 episodes as UV enabled and the rest will surely follow later.

I felt bad for Roger having to go to his son's school right after his beating and without his shoes.

God bless you always!!!

It probably will. I asked on the UV for S1 on Vudu and someone said WB is handling it. And they also handle the ones for the DCTU (DC TV verse, aka Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends). What I am hoping for is it doesn't get the 100 treatment where Season 1 is Blu/UV and then they decide to stop on the UV.

I am thoroughly shocked over how good this show is. Sometimes it takes a season or two before a show really starts to click. Just imagine how great this one could get.

S1 on Bluray can be preordered on Amazon, but there's no release date listed, my guess is August.
