Learned from the last few releases, its just better to pre-order as soon as they show up and forget, if its really bad, unopened returns are easy.

I was gonna say it's still available (and it is, just limited) but it's in store pickup only and there aren't any within 250 miles of me, at least.

I'm glad I pre-ordered when the only option was shipping but if there was ever a window where in-store pickup was available (near me), I missed it by a lot.

That's what I always do, but my credit card was compromised and failed the validation, then I missed the email to update it. So my shipping order from a month ago was nuked and I'm SOL.

Was it becuase of a double pre authorzation charge? Had that happen to me before and worried about it happening again.

No, the old card was deactivated because it was compromised. I just missed the 24 hour email to change cards because it was the weekend and I wasn't checking my phone religiously.

Its probably worth a try, give the Customer Service a call, they might be able to fix up an order? who knows.

I tried, to no avail. I was able to get an ISP order for 1 and 3, but Ultron still eludes me.

I spoke to one of the associates today about the availability and he said they always have a few in stock on release day. That's why I'm going to be there as soon as it opens. I've already got Infinity War for pickup, but these others have been difficult to pre-order.

Being there as soon as it opens is key. I live in a small town, just one Best buy, wanted to pick up The Incredibles and went there an hour after opening, whatever few copies they had were gone. fortunately, found it in another city where family picked it up. Funny thing it came back in stock later.

Some Disney steelbooks (like Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, Moana, The Incredibles, etc) did come back in stock after release day. However, Marvel's steels are different. They've gained so much popularity in recent years. That's why most of them were gone within the first 30 minutes on release day, and only a few of them came back like Black Panther. Re-releases don't count, btw.

So, if you want to gamble, wait until the day of release to buy it; otherwise, preorder (for in store pickup or shipping) is the way to secure yourself a copy.

You guys are worrying too much. These steelbooks will come back on release date. Just be here past midnight and you'll be good to go.
