Natalie Holt's score and the production design, impressed me the most.

Hiddleston is splendidly charming, as always, and Wilson is a great addition. Can't wait to se more.

Guys, guys. All ya'll arguing about who is and isn't Mephisto- it's obviously Casey. Haven't you ever seen TV before- nobody suspects the nice guy!

In all seriousness, it was a pretty good episode! Not my favorite, but not my least favorite. Lots of good setup and character beats. It's so interesting
[Show spoiler]seeing a character see their entire life in the span of a few moments (even if it's teeechnically not their life). Hiddleston acted that scene really well.
I thought Owen Wilson did a really good job. If there's one thing you can say about Loki, it's that he's fun, and this seems like it's gonna be a fun, if at times emotional, show. Can't wait to see them play with space and time.

Now you know how he avoids his death in the future, I also got the impression the best expert to stop the bad guy is the bad guy. This is going to get even more crazy with multiple Loki’s.

Really enjoyed that. This is already far superior to TFATWS. Wilson is a great casting choice.

I don't have the physique of a superhero, so I have a lot of shirts with the various SHIELD logos on them. Not crazy over SWORD. After today's episode, I'm going to need some serious TVA gear.

Surprised at how much they aped the crap out of Terry Gilliam and Brazil. From the German Expressionism, Dutch angles, production design, old looking future tech, inefficient systems, bureaucracy, etc... They really went Gilliamesque here. I loved it.

Not as hard as when he came back and watch the rest of the tape. For someone with a superiority complex he was totally subdued by then.

Well, when I started reading in other articles about how Loki is gender fluid, I thought it was going to be like the rest of Hollywood trash. But, while it wasn't all that bad, it was .... okay. Nothing to write home about. But, I hated that they turned Loki into some kind of sniveling brat at the end. That isn't the Loki that has been portrayed throughout the MCU films. He's always been a bit of the villain. I don't think I like this new version.

But, I also don't like how they portray the TVA. That they are more powerful than the Infinity Stones and the Celestials? I just find it hard to imagine that the TVA found a way to neutralize the infinity stones. "Using the infinity stones as paper-weights"? I started rolling my eyes at that idea. The TVA makes it seem like nobody in the MCU has anything resembling free will. That if you don't make a certain decision that they have written in their book of secrets, then you are a variant.

They already made this movie, and it was based on an old Phillip K. Dick short story, "The Adjustment Team", which was adapted into the movie, The Adjustment Bureau. It's not exactly an original idea in the Loki series, just with a super-powered twist. It was the first thing I noticed about this episode.

I'll keep watching but I would give the first episode a solid C+. Hoping that the forthcoming new episodes are better.

I know he didn’t realize that all he did was cause pain. And honestly he is responsible for the creation of The Avengers. Cause if he never showed up they wouldn’t even bother to create the group.

One of the funniest moments is Loki's face seeing these.
“we actually get a lot of those! some of the guys use them as paperweights"

I know his face was priceless when he realized what they was and that some of them are used for paper weights.

Absolutely fantastic start, I'm all in. I particularly loved the look of the show with the 1970s scifi aesthetic. Tom Hiddleston is superb and continues to add so much to the character.
