My local Best Buy never received any copies. That's one of the things I hate about living in a smaller city. They don't get the inventory that most other stores get.

This happened with the release of the part 1 steenbok. Sold out very quickly, then a few months later more copies showed up in store and stayed on the shelves for a while.

...last week i found $13 copies on the shelf at walmart.
4k?

About two dozen copies at my store yesterday. A dozen up front and a dozen in the movie section.
Already had my shipment in hand the day before, was there for the Chapter I/II exclusive.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen two dozen copies of any limited edition steenbok in store.

Yeah, I think Best Buy is doing this regularly now. I see previously "unavailable" or "sold out" Steelbooks like Alita and Alien back on shelves for the holidays. I think BB holds onto surplus inventory to create an initial demand ("omg it's limited, gotta get it now") and then they'll trickle out their remaining copies later on. Not sure if that's really what's going on, just what I've noticed lately.

You must not have been in-store shopping for Ralph Breaks the Internet...

Or remember how stocked Target was with their Finding Dory

Guys don't forget to check the SKU on zoolert. Not 100% accurate but will help point you in the right direction.

https://www.zoolert.com/bestbuy-inve...7C25%7C6365926

And the one Ray is talking about at Walmart is the regular blu ray version, no 4K

Matte steels work a lot better with art that doesn’t have a lot of bright, primary color.

The first It release looked pretty good to me, because it was a very dark, mostly black color pattern.

This one has a lot of red on the cover and it doesn’t pop the way it needs to.

...almost a lifeless red.

I was hoping this would happen with the Godzilla king of monsters steelbook but never did.
