This forum has a built in spoiler tag system so it would seem like common courtesy for the community. Even if you don’t want to use it you don’t have to be an ass when someone is caught off guard by your lack of discretion.

Phenomenal film. Loved it! I need this Day 1.

I held off on pre-ordering because BB only offers shipping. I reluctantly gave their shipping another chance last month, but after getting burned again this last experience, getting three damaged steelbooks last month in those flimsy bubble mailers (I never get boxes ), I decided against that here.

Hopefully, this comes back for In-Store Pickup pre-orders or stores get more than two copies on release day and it's not another Snyder Cut scenario. But this is Sony and the biggest film of the year, so I am staying optimistic that Sony had enough foresight to manufacture a decent amount of these. haha

It's a real shame that BB doesn't offer this option anymore like they used to and instead forces people to choose the unreliable shipping option for pre-orders.

I need some help. I check Best Buy and Amazon JP 3-4 times daily and have every Marvel Steelbook in 4K and 3D and have never had a problem.

Suddenly, I missed the 4K+ 3D Steelbook for Shang-Chi, Eternals and Spider-Man which forced me to purchase the 4K+3D Amaray from Japan PLUS the 4K Steelbook from Best Buy which are VERY big purchases for someone on disability.

In fact, for Spider-Man I missed the Best Buy Steelbook as well and had to order the matching SB from JB Hi-Fi in Australia and the the alternative SB from Amazon UK.

Best Buy, Amazon JP and Zavvi are not posting pre-order or release dates on their websites. Both say “No Release Date” and that the Pre-Order is coming soon but both sites ALSO show they are Sold Out.

Where are you finding exactly which day the pre sale starts for these films (ESPECIALLY THE AMAZON JP 4K+3D Steelbooks). I church these websites 3 times per day starting the day they are released in theaters in the US.

Now I have extra naked Amaray cases which I refuse to display on ANY shelf and an extra 4K disc I do not need.

Please let me know because the past three releases have cost me @ $80 USD (JP) + $40 USD (Best Buy) which is more than I’ve paid for any Premium Steelbook. It basically means forgoing doctor visits, medication and food ever since Shang-Chi.

Serious, helpful answers please only. I suffer from debilitating nerve pain which has left me unable to work or leave the house to go to the theater (which used to be my passion). My only motivation to to endure this endless suffering is and to keep living this isolated, lonely life is to lose myself in a really great movies as a distraction. I can’t afford the scalper prices on eBay. Are they selling our faster than they used to bc people purchasing multiple copies to turn around and double the price? How do I find when a particular packaging of a movie will go on-sale in a particular country (JP and the US, specifically).

I’ve been collecting for a long time but have only recently had problems.

The blu ray forum here, actually.

Once a thread is created for the next upcoming MCU 4K steelbook in the Movies> Blu Ray Steelbooks forum, subscribe to the thread. Keep monitoring the thread for new posts... once the preorder comes up on BB, people will post that the orders are now live.

Haven't missed any steels that way.

Just look at the earlier posts in this thread and you can see how that plays out.

The only date that is hard to nail down for me is the date that Amazon Japan puts their 4K+3D steelbooks up for preorder.

Usually there is a post in either a 3D or steelbook thread for the film when someone sees that it is up.

Otherwise, like a previous poster said...I check Amazon Japan daily ( usually 2-3 times a day )

It took a long time for their Eternals 4K+3D steelbook preorder to go up.

I'm still waiting for Spiderman : No Way Home, although I'm not certain Amazon Japan will even get a 4K+3D steelbook, since Sony was involved.

Take a breath, relax. There are more important things in life (like staying healthy) than steelbook collecting. First of all you didn't "miss out" on anything yet. You don't need to preorder panic. If you want BestBuy titles wait until 1AM EST on the day listed on their website for the release and you can order it then. This title does not even have a date yet. The other MCU films do. This hobby shouldn't be torturing you with panic and FOMO.
