All the season 5 sets are combo packs. The Season 5 Part's 1 and 2 have DVD's with them as does the complete Walmart Exclusive set. But ya Crunchyroll seriously screwed up with that.

Honestly I think DVD sizes are just the norm now, sadly. Succession, The West Wing, Star Trek: Discovery, and the re-releases of Smallville and Supernatural complete series sets. Possible I Love Lucy. They already think it's too expensive to pay for extra disc trays and stack them, they must be able to get DVD cases for a penny instead of a quarter lol

Individual sets will probably stay BD but seems like bundled stuff gets DVD cased. Universal's the only one who doesn't currently do it (though they have, like with the Grimm re-release) and hopefully they don't jump on the bandwagon.

...I guess I'll wait until my birthday to pick up DVD-case Season 5, add in the Walmart-exclusive Afro Samurai set, and then wait to see how different the next [pending] Walmart-exclusive will look~

Will it be just Season 6? Another DVD-case set? Would it also add Season 7? Or will it be an all-out Season 6-8 in a fat DVD case to hold all those blu-ray and DVD discs? Whatever the answer is (maybe none of the above, I hope not), Crunchy better go Plus Ultra by the time they even think of a MHA complete series blu-ray box set... exclusive to Amazon~ XD

Looks like its gonna be single Seasons Blu+DVD. If Crunchy had followed the old formula we would have had Season 5 and 6 together in one Blu Ray set.

I let Crunchyroll CS chat know about how we don't like the DVD case and the DVD's being included so hopefully the feedback does something

Got my Season 5 complete set today and that DVD case is such an eyesore. Who at Crunchyroll thought that was a good idea.

I am definitely buying a 4 disc Blu case from Amazon to house the Blu's of S5 so it matches my other sets

Speaking of movies, You're Next was pretty forking sweet as someone who hasn't seen Season 7 [yet] though World Heroes' Mission's still my favorite~ (Ironically, everyone else at my screening left right before the brief after credit scene~ XD)

Update to my Season 5 Fiasco. I did get my Viva Elite 4 disc case for the Blu Ray's today. I also gambled and took out the DVD artwork which is the same for S5 Part 2 and cut them and I managed to make them fit in my Blu Ray case.

It's a little crude but it works.

Amazon listing says audio is Japanese with English subtitles. I'm assuming this will have the English dub included otherwise it would be odd.

Yeah plus there was similar confusion over Godzilla Minus One and Toho wasn't exactly clear at first on if it's dub was included or not.

I got the UK version of Season 5 which is a normal 4-disc bluray case but CR screwed up since disc 3+4 has the same content as disc 1+2...

Luckily I still had the US releases of Season 5 Part 1 & 2 so I just took the BD's of those and put them in the UK case.

Finally a full set in a BD case but damn this complete Season 5 set is a shitshow in both the US & UK.
