Surprising omission to me is Big Bang Theory. I hate it but I thought it had a huge following. And I wish people would turn on GoT already like they did Dexter.

Before The Regurgita... uh, I mean The Return, I would have put Twin Peaks in my top five.

So many great shows are ruined by one awful last season. Wilfred, Community, Arrested Development (last two seasons, actually), Cheers (great finale, though)... this is why I didn't submit a vote. I could not think of 25 shows worthy of a mention.

The list wasn't 25 perfect shows. It was your 25 favorite.

Default Well...

Twin Peaks will always be my personal Number 1/Favorite/Best television show of all time, but with regard to recognizing other monumental television achievements and giving credit where credit is definitely due...

Bizarre how strongly all the ‘classic’ Star Trek shows performed but Voyager is nowhere to be seen…!

Never saw Breaking Bad. That’s the drug show, right?

Ha! I got another right! I thought this had enough votes to be top 3.

And this must be why I thought Buffy and Twin Peaks would track higher.

I debated with Columbo and Sherlock. Probably should’ve taken off the Simpsons to make room for one of them.

I’m surprised Thundercats is higher than DuckTales. I felt like I saw that on fewer lists.

Poor Golden Girls! I really gave that an awful spot on my list.

You owe it to yourself to watch this. It's a great show.

Clearly more people need to watch things like The Expanse and 12 Monkeys though.

Many thanks to djgeneral for running this.

The Wire is still in the top 10 so it's still a sane world.

But am I seeing this right that Boardwalk Empire isn't even in the top 100 ?

It's probably too much of a time investment for most people but I'd be interested in something like a book club but for tv shows. Pick a show you haven't seen and let's watch it and talk about it.

That could take a while before people could start talking about a show if they have to watch 7 or 8 seasons first.
If someone picks Supernatural, that's 15 seasons.

Nice idea but rather complicated to do. A movie would be easier than a show.
