A Joyce resurrection would be wrong.

I do think the Scooby gang should be reunited by the end of the 1st season though.

I'm taking this as her meaning bringing them back in small parts. Like in a dream or something, pretty much like any way the original show brought the dead back after they passed. Joyce came back in both season 6 & 7. All the past villains that died came back as The First. I don't think she meant literally bring them back from the dead.

Absolutely agree. Same thing with Firefly, okay so Joss doesn't want to do it anymore, give it to Espenson (who's been writing Foundation lately) or one of the other regular writers. Joss wrote most of the best episodes but he wasn't the only one who knew how to write these shows.

I wouldn't be mad at all about her returning. Been reading about how she was treated during season 4 of Angel for more than a decade and then getting more detail a few years ago, she deserves to come back after all that. Could easily see her show up as a higher power or something like that to help out

Oh yes, she could absolutely be a higher power for the force of good.

I didn't hate what they did to her on-screen in Angel season 4, at least when I was ignorant of what went on behind the scenes. The really cruel bit (to her fans at least) was the almost throwaway leaving episode halfway through the otherwise superb season 5.

Yeah, she talks about that season 5 episode at a DragonCon back in 2009. Said she told them the only way she would do that episode is if they didn't kill her and they agreed. Then when it got closer to filming it, told her they were going to kill her. She liked the story and decided to do it anyway because she thought Cordy fans deserved it. I watched this on yt back then, should still be on there

I’d love Anya to come back. I doubt it will happen, but want that to happen.

I hope they release more Buffy figures now.
