Right? So GD frustrating. I'm sure they're making enough. It's just that Amazon only updates a few copies at a time and then it immediately sells out of the low stock they enter in.

WB did this twice now putting up the steelbook preorders on the release days for Superman and Weapons. Superman was sold out by Sunday, while Weapons was sold out by Monday.

If you really love a WB movie, just make sure you click that preorder button ASAP. You can always cancel on Amazon and Walmart if you change your mind.

limited quantity items, should be max'd at 1 per account (or some other way), just like tickets for concerts should be metered to 4 tickets max (I know it seems unfair to larger families) but somehow items like SteelBooks or limited qty items should automatically be limited to 1-2 for each account/customer/address/credit card ... what have you.

Man I have not seen this pop up even once on Amazon and I’ve been checking pretty regularly for what seems like forever now. How often has this resurfaced for PO?

It took me around a week of pretty constant checking last week before I finally not only saw it available for purchase but also was able to add it to my cart and complete purchase (ie bots snapped it up before I could confirm order on several occasions. Nevertheless my persistence paid off however my order is still just in “Order Received”, so I highly doubt this will be shipping on the 23rd but we shall see.

You'd think with nearly 100 years worth of artwork for the character, one of the most iconic modern characters in human history, that they could do better.

It's crazy that the marketing teams seem to have no interest in recreating classic comic covers for any of these movies, with rare exceptions. The last time I remember it happening was when Spider-Man Homecoming did one, but it was not the main poster for marketing.
