I just received my shipment yesterday. Ordered Hellboy 2, Kung Fu Panda, Tropic Thunder, and The Incredible Hulk. I can't remember when I ordered it, but it was about 2-3 weeks to Saskatchewan.

On January 6th I placed an order for Hellboy 2, Hancock, the Incredible Hulk and Kung Fu Panda. Today I talked to a cs representative using the live chat feature and was told that my order shipped on the 7th and that it should arrive within 7-14 business days. Today would be the 13th business day so hopefully I receive my order on Monday.

The regular price for most Blu-rays on Columbia House Canada is $28.95 + taxes. Some are $32.95 and some are lower like $21.95. They seem to always have some kind of sale like buy 1, get more at 50% off. I just did a query and it shows 450 or so Blu-rays that they carry. The main ones they don't carry are from Disney and all of their affiliated companies since Disney has their own movie club.
I think you have to buy 2 or 3 at regular prices to fulfill your membership. |

Yep the sales and when they are combined with free shipping. The shipping is usually $1.99 but the sales they had in the last few months it was included free.
For example I bought many in the last big sale where I paid $28.95 for 1 title (this one counts towards your # you need to purchase at full price) and then got 7 more for $11.58 each + taxes. All of that with free shipping so the total was $125 or so to my door for 8 Blu-rays. I got 4 sets of 8+ in that sale. The shipping is very slow at times but I don't mind too much for the prices. |

And how is your experience with them Jimbo, I'm a bit nervous reading through all of this thread. I' ve been a member a while ago and they had their problems but never anything big for me, so now I'm debating the whole question

You just can't beat that kind of price. I have received 22 out of 23 so far. The only one missing is the Latest Harry Potter that is out of stock. Even a little hassle will be worth those kind of prices. So far I did not have any real issues. Like Jimbo said its a little slow to ship sometimes but I don't mind waiting to have crazy deals like that, ![]() |

the deals are really good, and my only problem is no info on shipping, I've had 2 movies canceled cause they were out(instead of back-ordering) and lack of steelbooks LOL. If you can wait for movies, it's a good option to go, I can get 5-6 BRs for about $100...taxes in and free shipping.

3 new release titles are $13.99 this week. They are as follows...
- Lakeview Terrace (Samuel L. Jackson) - Pride and Glory (Edward Norton and Colin Farrell) - The Express (Dennis Quaid) I haven't seen Pride and Glory, but it looks really good. Anyone here seen it? |

I' ve ordered 9 or 10 BDs from them and am really happy with their service up to now, and every week or so a few titles go fo 13.99 ( temporarely) but if you check often enough there are deals to be made, and even their normal prices for the rest is generaly no more than 24.99 which is still better than BB, FS and sometimes even amazon. My shipping time as been ok up to now except for 1 title that is out-of-stock/backorder whichever term they use lol. Plus they seem to be getting better with time, ironing out the bugs I guess.
