A sequel to Dumb and Dumber and nothing like that piece of crap prequel they made

No sequel to this but I want a new Goonies, I could see a remake in the future

Seconded! Loved both those movies. With District 10 that could make a fantastic R-rated invasion movie and Kick-Ass 2 wouldn't need the dull school stuff and could be pure awesomeness.

I hold out some small smidgen of hope for both, though.

I want them to return and do some proper sequels to all those horror franchises that were abandoned in favor of remakes. They'll never do that though. Many of them ended with cliffhangers/sequel-teases that'll never be resolved thanks to the dumb remake trend. I just think a long running series should be capped off before rebooting.

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash would have been the perfect send off for those characters before the remakes. It's a shame it fell apart. It makes me sad that Robert Englund never got to do that final Freddy performance he was talking about.

I agree with this. And the sad thing is...It can all be pinned on Raimi for pulling Ash out of it at the last minute. Without Ash, they were never able to recover the script and get any other characters to work as well as Ash did in the script. At least we have the movie in a comicbook miniseries to see it off correctly.

+1 I totally agree. The movie wasn't THAT bad, and I hate cliffhangers.

His Dark Materials #2 - and there is no good reason it shouldn't happen.

I'm ok with cliffhangers in general. It's unresolved cliffhangers that drive me up the wall. TV series are the worst offenders in this regard, but it happens in movies too. Infuriating.

I'd really love a sequel to: A Nightmare Before Christmas... I just hope Tim Burton and Henry Sellick would also want to do it

Conan the King - With Arnie and John Millius.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World - Loads of source material, there are 19 books in the series.

Gone Baby Gone - Again, a great series of books and one movie.

Streets of Fire - was written as a series but nobody went to see the first one.

Phantasm - There's a Roger Avery script out there that was too ambitious and expensive. I would love to see it.

Goonies - This rumor keeps popping up. Last i heard it was dead.

Mad Max: Fury Road - The one with Mel Gibson that got shut down.

I could go on and on .......
