I received an email from mediadis and it's discontinued.

I will never order from there, discontinued before release date?

Come on, this is impossible.
I hate pre-ordering something and not get it!
Mediadis suck and I hate them now!

Anyone want to help a Cannuck here?

Many countries got the same artwork for that steelbook, so no it wouldn't be rare.

It may be the only release that's region free...I don't know. But, I highly doubt that that would make it rare. The rare ones are: Terminator 2 steel case (AU), Terminator 2 Premium Edition (JP), and uber hard to find...Terminator 2 version 2.0 Premium Edition (JP).

Thats still a lot of money in my book... I saw it hanging around in a cheap ass dvd store nearby and maybe I can trade it or sell it for another steelbook/money.

I just checked on amazon, and the MX version is going for $55 used, and $60 brand new. It is also region free, and is the version I have. So, yea if you can get it at that store for a decent price, I would pick it up for a possible trade. Most used media sellers don't have a clue about the value of blu-ray steelbooks. Is it still sealed and how much, if you don't mind me asking?
