I hate exploring that area, in fact I don't think I had looked through Frontier entirely due to all the RES you need. I have the area unlocked in NG++ & I didn't kill him. I'll have to be brave & explore Nightmare Frontier more.

A few dungeons worth playing over & over is Great Isz because Tomb Mold (5) is rare. You can farm that material easy by entering first layer & killing rats. Second is Ritual Blood (5) which can be farmed online. Last video I posted explains how to obtain unlimited RB5

There is also Arcane Haze which can be traded for at the workbench for Ritual Blood. You have to complete a few earlier Dungeons before this is available. My advise is to not trade RB4 or RB5 for haze.

In story mode there are 4 Red Jelly's you need for some Chalices required.

Got as close as I could get to spider in frontier.

Ah, forgot to kill the doll.

I went back to Cathedral Ward & the old lady was missing. I went to the cannibal & just had a little chat & the bag man came around the corner & hit him pretty good. Well the cannibal blamed me for the attack of course & killed me. Then I respawned & everybody was dead except him.

Reloaded save, killed witch boss, went back to Ward (Everybodies dead, oh well.. got some shoes) & then went to Cainhurst. Logarius is not even funny on NG++ Go hide around the window pillars, yeah good luck on that! His spells go through anything. He also has way better parry. After a few tries I barely beat him. I saved my death & victory. I might upload both vids. Anywhoo, already had Blood Dreg for whooping Alfred's @ss & gave it to the Cainhurst Queen. She gave me Deep Respect which is the same gesture you do in front of her.

I'm at the one reborn and I've only tried it a few times but it seems much harder than the video I watched. They just calmly walked around and slashed it barely even dodging. My experience seems much different (and I did kill the adds) does insight affect bosses?

It's weird how sometimes things just click and the boss seems easy. Well that's done. now some Frenzy nonsense and guys that leap and one shot you, breath fire, send out AoE shockwaves and worms coming out of them after they die, wtf!!!

The game is defintely twisted, probably why I like it.

Apparently having insight makes you more sane which is not a good thing when you see such nightmarish creatures so best keep to insane or few insight as possible.

I'm on my third playthrough & it seems insight up or down doesn't make a huge difference. It shows in the player stats stuff like Beasthood is increased with lower insight & since most bosses are beasts you'd think you would have a better chance but not always the case.

I'm at max everything level wise + attack + defence. I still have trouble with the same bosses. They are way more aggressive & I can die in 3-4 hits. By agressive I mean Amygdala moving at the speed of Blood starved Beast.

My highest combo meter on a smaller boss was over 12,000HP. I think it's safe to say these bosses near 100,000HP.

Derb, I've been looking at your videos. They might not seem so brutal, if you used a method other than full frontal attack against bosses. That's the one drawback of having everything maxed out early. You were able to take on everything toe to toe in the beginning, and now when they are stronger than you, you have to relearn how to combat them.

So far, the bosses in NG+ have all been a relative piece of cake compared to NG. Except for Amygdala who was probably about the same and took me quite a few tries. I forget completely how to get to Cainhurst.

This is true. I am noticing I am forced to learn the bosses as they are par with my fighting & defence. Heck I threw out the 150+ Res for this fight to add another +4 all defence reduction. Have a +5 all defence too & a physical Def +7% for that fight.

I died against Logarius using the method recommended by sites before NG. Hiding from his magic worked then, I vividly remember his spells did not go through the pillars. Also I never got hit with the explosion by them before this fight. His Parry is also hardcore now. My reach when he is very close sucks to be honest. I thought about the weapon I'm using too. It's powerful, but slow when in tricked position.

Bottom line with Logarius in NG++ is if you take your time, you'll be dead in 3 hits & very fast. That's why I wanted to post the death vid so you get an idea of how much damage he is giving as well as very little opportunity to strike back.

Luckily I never used the hand lantern much because this is sneaky as s*** from From Software. Apparently it slows down the regeneration of your stamina. I always just carried my torch in my hand since I mainly roll and side step when fighting. I don't use my gun all that much.

PSTrophies says the combat is similar to Souls, but I don't think it's otherwise similar. I have it but have not played it. I'm bored with Bloodborne, now, finished NG+ today. There is really nothing left to play for. So I will either be installing Lords of the Fallen or Alien: Isolation. Not much else going on for a few weeks.

I didnt care for lords much. I have it. Tries to copy souls series but does it wrong and boss fights felt cheap. Dying felt cheap.
