I was looking at the withoutparole vr channel on YouTube, and apparently there are a few performance improvements. No VR game is PSSR patched yet as that's next year apparently. But Vertigo 2 runs notoriously not so hot but now runs better via the Pro for example.

![]() Max Mustard would be a must-play game IMO, as it's as close as Astrobot as PSVR2 can get at the moment. Since Sony dropped the ball big time and has yet to bring Astrobot 1 VR or port 2 and 3 to PSVR2, which could get me very interested in PSVR2. I was going over the PSVR2 library of games on PS store, and there are a few interesting games, but most don't interest me, along with the higher price points, most games being 29.99 and up. PSVR1, I remember a lot of 4.99 to 9.99 sales that helped me rack up my PSVR1 library. I"m not a first person gamer in 2D, so playing that way in 3D isn't very appealing most times either. Then factor in the dizzy effect in VR for fast movement games and jumping/landing suddenly. I did spot a few new games though that I think are a big plus for PSVR2, and I did forget that PSVR2 has that PC Steam VR add on, which hopefully adds a ton of value to PSVR2 for those who don't want to get involved with Quest 3. |

I went into a bit of a VR frenzy when I picked up a discounted PSVR2 with the PC adapter. But after that initial flurry of interest, I haven't touched the headset in a few months. Max Mustard is the game that might get me to go back under the hood.

Yeah, Max Mustard looks like it plays just like Astrobot Missions VR, which is my all time favorite VR game, ever. That's why I'm really disappointed with Sony's lack of motivation to get that game at least, ported to PSVR2 with sharper resolution. Big oversight, Sony. It was a top selling game too on PSVR1.
The biggest issue I have with PSVR1 is that it takes about 10 minutes just to set things up each time when starting a new VR session. Putting on the headset takes about a minute, but then sorting out the connections is a hassle that could take 9 minutes at least. The rest is easy if it all works without any "USB connection error" concerns. But it definitely makes me think twice before playing VR. |

When they say a specific month, that's even better. It's rare to hear a specific day though for Indie games, which I think are on a more random schedule it seems. Hopefully they sort things out and get the game released soon in 2025 sounds more probable. |

I bought Metro Awakening but won't get to it until I finish DQ3, which might take a couple months. I love the Metro games, particularly the first 2.

The PSVR2 is £339.99 on Amazon UK right now for black Friday sales. I just ordered one as they let you pay in 5 or 6 parts whichever it was.

If it got down to 299.99, I'd be interested as there just aren't enough genre games I'm looking for. Way too many FPS type games. Currently 349.99 lowest price ever though. That's good to see. |

I had orginally bought and return the VR2 during its launch. I enjoyed it, but after a little bit of time, felt it was too much and I would wait for the price to come down. And maybe the wait will be better than expected by having the pro. I'm looking forward to playing GT7 with the pro and having checking out ps5 pro vr2 GT7 enhanced reviews(geeez that was alot for a simple description). |

Has anyone upgraded/made adjustments to make thiee VR2 more comfortable during game play?
I ordered Globular Cluster kit for my VR2. The reviews show multiple different things that can be changed. Screenshot_20241203_221426_Amazon Shopping.jpg I believe I'm more interested in the rear cup that fit on the back of the skull and the top strap. |

Hi Chet. Are you still able to use your cart set up with the gearing, brakes and wheel for Gran Turismo 7 VR in PSVR2? Any other VR games that it can be used for? Probably a lot of use with driving games for it.

There aren't many PS5 games that are compatible. For instance, Hot Wheels Unleashed doesn't support any wheels. |

I'm not sure I believe you when you say 'easy' to install... ![]() They say easy, but the instruction video makes it look harder than I actually expect it to be. I'm sure i won't have an issue.. The wife insisted I buy a sim wheel for GT7, and that should be here Friday with the stand Monday. I didn't go expensive and ordered the G923. Logitech pro or Fanatec DD extreme is tempting. But I'm sure i won't be putting that much time into it. ***********edit*********** Quote:
AND, YES!!! Far more comfortable. I wasn't really complaining about comfort before, but now I feel the new fit, I'm positive of much more play time. Last edited by superpacman; 12-05-2024 at 02:37 AM. |

https://www.theverge.com/2024/12/8/2...support-gaming Apple and Sony are working to add Vision Pro support for PSVR2 controllers. Announcement was planned weeks ago but rolllout has been postponed. PSVR2 controllers would be sold standalone in Apple's online and retail stores. |
