OK it looks like we will ditch one of our covers but replace it with a different one, so what do you guys think of these 2, and please if you have any suggestions let us know.

Now that we finally have confirmation of how these films are being packaged on Blu-ray, I have finished the cover. I'm a little bummed they won't be on separate discs as the art for the two films doesn't exactly compliment each other that nicely, but I'm as pleased as possible with the outcome, considering the circumstances.

The only thing left to wait for to complete the collection is to see what bonus features come with the other package films and if anything new is added to The Black Cauldron. Can't believe after over a year of work, the finish line is nearly here!

I saw it, and thank you for your input, but that is not an actual poster for the film. That artwork was done for the DVD release years ago, with variations of it for different countries. I have that DVD. Version 1 of my above artwork is the VHS front from 1986 and the Version 2 is the original theatrical poster for the film. I tend to try and stay with original poster art or VHS art when doing these older films. The artwork back then is light years better than what they produce now-a-days.

I agree, but the DVD artwork for Maximum Overdrive is an exception. It looks more like original poster art than the original poster art.

LOL I suck really bad at Photoshop and my art guy is going away for a few days but I wanted to show a sample of the poster and the art cards we have done for inside the BD case goodies.

Here is a conversion of the Criterion digipack cover for The Third Man. Made to fit the Criterion Blu-ray cases, not the regular U.S. ones.
