I think we all see the same vendor inventory, which is why Eric was able to make 31 without any DLC.

All 3 of my Warlock exotic helmets came from nightfalls.

2 of my Gjallarhorns came from Nightfalls. The other was from my first Deathsinger on Crota during my first Hard raid on Crota.

I got mine from nightfall, hard crota, and hard atheon.
