I'm getting so sick and tired of Bungie's inability to balance the weapons in PVP. they nerf one gun and then make another insanely powerful. Now thorn is basically the "god" gun of the game and morons are running around 2 shoting someone from scout rifle range with it.

I know what you mean but there are other guns just as good as Thorn. Hand cannons seem to be OP in PvP lately so seem the most common to use but if you don't have Thorn then Hawkmoon is very good if not better. Last word is also brilliant but takes a learning curve to use it correctly. If Hand cannons are not your thing then Red Death or maybe Bad Juju Pulse Rifles. I personally prefer Red Death as its a good counter to Thorn. AR's are no where near as good as they where. I have Suros and Vanquisher VIII but they don't feel as effective as they once were. I've gone for pulse rifles now. Three Little words is a bit like Red Death but without the health regen perk. I have a nice roll on Syzygy 123 which has been very useful and frees up an exotic slot

I usually hate this strike as Omnigul is a sponge. But, solar burn has my Gjallarhorn salivating!

I was hoping the same thing but think you're better off opening your faction/vanguard/crucible packages now for the commendations and just saving the cryptarch packages. you can get your factions/vanguard/crucible near the edge though for easy rank up on May 19th.

Good thing you mentioned keeping cryptarch packages. I was going to open those too.

Omnigul is my favorite strike. I think I have a video somewhere of the longest bladedance ever thanks to it. Maybe I should upload it. Lasted pretty much from Eris saying "The Hive have entered the room" until she says, "Push forward, Guardian"

I average at least 200+ kills each time it pops up in Roc.

With no Lightswitch, I'll be bladedancing my life away.
