It is so funny that you ask that “What’s the point in discussing it?” follow up question Vilya. You make a solid argument that I’m sure this will go unanswered too. If you are so sure that digital is the end of physical as you know it why continue to partially support it Steedeel?

Because I wouldn’t get to see some films otherwise. Namely Hush and The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs recently.

They also stream Star Trek Discovery here exclusively. Thankfully, Handmaid’s Tale went to broadcast rather than Amazon.

It is amazing how many people have HD equipment and still watch SD media Vilya. I know my parents are one. I remember one of our first trips to see them and my dad picking up a couple of DVDs despite having a BD player and 55” flatscreen

Stop reposting those HUGE gifs, especially ones that strobe , when quoting people; you are hastening the demise of everything and you are inducing vertigo!

That only answers why you consort with the that you call digital, but it does not answer the greater question: why fixate upon, and endlessly discuss, the cruel fates that you insist are our certain doom?

2 points for Hufflepuff for almost answering the question. So much for principles, right? I may not agree with PenguinInfinty’s physical only perspective, but I at least respect him for walking the walk and not just talking the talk. This is why I question any conspiracy theory you have about the future of media format Steedeel

I answered your last question. You must have not liked the answer. I said I believe I can see things that you and Vilya (amongst others) can’t see. Now, whether you believe that is s sincere answer is up to you. I can only answer.

Hufflepuff!

He only answered your second question meaning that he got half the test wrong and scoring even a full 50% is still a solid grade of F.

His duplicity in cavorting with digital after demonizing it from the mountaintops is the least of the reasons why I question his conspiracies; their complete lack of any basis in fact and their sheer colossal absurdity being the principal reasons.

That is NOT an answer; it is just another dodge! You are avoiding the question entirely. I never said that you couldn't discuss the future; I asked you what was the point in discussing your specific predictions; predictions that are devoid of both reason and hope.

I asked you what are we supposed to do about them if we are being charitable enough to even entertain them as valid? If there is nothing that can be done about them, what is the point in obsessing about an unhappy and unavoidable outcome? Why not just skip these comparatively trivial concerns and instead fret about our certain deaths? That should give you more cause to pause than object based broadcasting ever could. Ponder all the things that could kill you seeing as you like to dwell on negatives so much.

Those are the questions, Mr. Steedeel. Take a stab at those.

Edit: I removed your newest nickname and addressed you by your preferred moniker; does that help you to focus upon the questions that you steadfastly flee from? I wouldn't want you to assert that you are being victimized as an excuse not to answer.

"He" has many names.

On the railroad every conductor got a nickname. Naturally, some did not like theirs, but a conductor with very high seniority pointed out that it didn't matter if you liked your nickname; it was important that you made peace with it. The more you fought against it, the more it got used.

More like "amongst everyone." No one "sees" what you do and they are thankful as hell that they don't.

If I learned that my theories were universally rejected AND ridiculed; I would at least question them and reevaluate them, but not you. You just create MORE of them like a con artist trying to "baffle with bullsh*t" as a diversionary tactic from the fact that the "prophet" really has no clothes.

Do you live in Mr. Roger's neighborhood? It still goes on as much now as ever, right or wrong notwithstanding. None of the ones that I ever heard were profane, sexist, or racist, although some that I never learned of might have been. Unflattering, yes, sometimes they were, but I never heard any that were vicious.

Why wouldn’t I? The concern over losing films is anything but trivial.

Anyone should be free to discuss what they like. Negative Or positive.

I wouldn't put up with that if it was derogatory. Boss or worker.

Exactly. ‘I’m all for physical media...well, unless there’s a movie I want to watch or a game I want to play that’s only supported digitally. Then I steam it. How hard is it to get up and change a disc? Unless you mean while playing a video game. Then I’d much rather have a digital copy so I don’t have to pause my game’ Yes, I’m all to familiar with the hypocrisy waltz he dances to

It was the right choice to rename it. Clever move I thought.

As for the other point, it’s actually quite dangerous to be removing a VR headset all the time. It also needs to focus your eyes every time you put the headset on. As it’s wireless, it would also put a huge strain on the cables.

You don’t stream games by the way. It’s stored on the console.

We don’t know you are. We only have your word for it. You could be sitting right now watching ‘The Golden Girls’ reruns while listening to the ‘Birdie Song’ on your IPod and playing Fortnite on your PS4.
