Maybe he's hoping Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers will personally deliver his amazon.ca order.

And that's not even fair since I helped bump you up to "prime" time. I didn't get the Optimus upgrade, though, dangit!

Looks like it works for anything.

I have always been using .ca, always assume that there was too much charge from .com? Maybe I am wrong? Prices are not always that amazing on .ca I usually make sure to compare with Future Shop and Best Buy before ordering. Criterion I never bother to check cause I can only find them in one store in Montreal and they are always expensive no matter what and the shipping charge from Criterion site is just crazy. I would more rather order from them but they make it almost impossible so I always order Criterion from .ca

I just check a quick order using .com I get a $11 shipping charge using it and my .ca order for the same two items would end up costing less by about $5. It could because I am in Quebec.

For those interested...

MGM-HD is NOW running a Truffaut film called "Mississippi Mermaid"...starring Jean-Paul Belmondo (Godard films), Catherine Deneuve and Nelly Borgeaud.

Sorry for the late notice...I'm home sick and just noticed it, when I turned on the TV...hopefully MGM-HD will rerun it...I'll let you know if they do.

UPDATE: DVR Alert!

It will be run again: 1.) Monday, Sept. 27 at 2:00 AM and 2.) Thursday, Sept. 30 at 1:10 PM

In the movie Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, the title character orders a package from amazon.ca and immediately goes to wait at the door for it because he wants to ask out the amazon.ca delivery girl.

FYI: GoHastings has a 20% off coupon code that works on next weeks pre-orders. The code is below. If you are a registered user on their site, you must make sure you have the 'receiving e-mails and promotions from them' box checked or the code does not work. New users need to sign up and make sure they have it checked. they usually ship on release day. Next weeks releases are 29.99- 20%, but shipping is about $2.30 each. Bottom line is it comes out to about $26 each., which is not too bad.

code: WIN0910

That's a good one. It's not mentioned a lot when Truffaut comes up but it's good.

There was just a scene where Catherine Deneuve is sitting on a bed, reading a newspaper...I think there was a picture of Godard on the cover of the newspaper.

I can actually spot some edge-enhancement, which is something I usually don't notice...... looks fantastic though, and I'm sure in motion I'll wonder what I was seeing from the screen-caps.

I see! Yet to see Scott Pilgrim will have to wait for the rental, look's like a fun movie however.

On a side note, Charade is on the way, I hope I get it for Thursday
