typical 70's conspiracy thriller but with great star power in the form of
Robert Redford, Faye Dunaway, Cliff Robertson, and Max Von Sydow--

entertaining, initially complicated but ultimately interesting thriller--

Watched the "Unrated Extended Cut" of the film that was a whopping 2 hrs and 48 minutes long. I'm a real big crime / drama fan and this one did not disappoint. Kind of a slow burner, but that's seamingly how all GOOD crime / drama films are.

I have friends who hate it, but they were expecting action. I knew better, and I loved it, although Denzel Washington's performance wasn't great, but wasn't bad... was just... typical (good) Denzel.

I really liked American Gangster. An easy 9/10. Though, i prefer the Theatrical Version.

Hunger (3rd watch) 10/10

The more and more I see this film, the more and more I love it. The performances from everyone in the film are top-notch and I feel that Steve McQueen (director) has a big future ahead of him. Michael Fassenbender gives such a dedicated performance and one of the best I have seen. If you think Bale's performance or dedication to weight loss was dramatic (very overrated movie The Machinist), check this movie out. Fassenbender's transformation of one of the 75 prisoners who went on a hunger strike in the "Maze" (prison) in 1981. A wonderful and brutal film.

Batman Begin Collectors Edition

Very Very good film, really down played allot because of The Dark Knight but this is were it started. Good AQ and PQ, awesome story. Highly Recommended.
