I toss my slipcovers unless the art on them is different from the box. I sometimes wish I had kept them all from the beginning, but I didn't, so I don't now. I don't let it bother me too much because half the time, there are stickers that end up leaving obnoxious residue anyway.

Trash it is then! IMHO the artwork looks 100% better on a raised piece of glossy cardboard than it does on a flimsy piece of paper stuck in behind the plastic cover, but that's just me. If you hate slipcovers that much, maybe you should just quit purchasing your movies on physical media and switch to Digital HD. Just sayin'. 😏

Not trying to force you to switch dude, just trying to make a point. With Digital, you don't have to worry about taking a Blu-ray out of it's case and back in again.

I agree with you completely, but weird enough when I got The Emperor's New Groove on blu-ray, that retained the classic logo. I find it weird that none of the more recent Diamond Editions do so.

And thus, putting it back on again also only takes a few seconds. Have we really become that lazy in today's world that taking a Blu-ray out of it's slipcover and putting it back in again has become such a chore? If so, that's really pathetic. Plus, you're throwing away one of the best and most valuable parts of the packaging, you fool. At least save them for someone who might really want them.

It's been hit and miss for me in terms of exclusives. I was unable to PM the Target Exclusive of Godzilla (which had different packaging and DCPI) to Amazon's regular edition price. And I was unable to PM the Ad price of the Walmart Exclusive of 101 Dalmatians, and could only PM the higher Walmart.com price of the regular edition (as Target verifies online pricing almost every time I PM). It's probably less of a problem with exclusives in the same packaging (such as How to Train Your Dragon 2). PMing becomes easier too if the exclusive rings up in store as the same DCPI number as the regular edition (even if there are different DCPI numbers on target.com), which can occur when both editions are the same price (such as Avengers: Age of Ultron), but that's not always the case. Given that the Target Exclusive of Aladdin will have a price of $24.99 on release day while the regular edition of Aladdin will be $22.99, it's almost certain that different DCPI numbers will be maintained in store, making it less likely PMs to the regular edition will be successful. |

Do you think if I called target they will do a price adjustment for a online order. I ordered a movie that releases on 10/13 for $24. I have a feeling it may drop to $19 or even lower. If that happens can they price adjust?

If the release day price on target.com is lower than your order price, then they will automatically refund you the difference the day after. They don't PM to other sites for online orders (you can only do that with purchases in store at the time of sale). |

Not gonna lie the lenticular cover doesn't seem worth the time traveling to bestbuy mainly just because it doesn't make any actual sense. The movie isn't 3D at all... So why should I let it sit proudly beside my lion king and Beauty and the beast sets? If anything it would sit comfortably beside my little mermaid blu which isn't lenticular. I'm just gonna pick this up from my local high street video store.
