The service itself is $6.99/month, but I'm curious what everyone's internet bill is at the end of November.

Streaming all that 4K content can't be cheap.

It involves subscribing to Hulu’s $11.99 / month no-ads service (this step needs to be completed first) and then signing up for the Disney+ bundle using the same email address that you used for your Hulu account. After that, you’ll get a $5.99 credit each month from Disney on your bundled subscription. You can also get a credit if you’re a previous ESPN+ subscriber, but that can vary depending on the type of subscription you have and whether you’re getting it from an app store.

If you do the math, that means (assuming you want Hulu and ESPN+) you’re essentially getting the three services for six dollars more than if you simply took the original bundle — but you’re also getting Hulu without the ads. The downside is you’ll be dealing with separate bills.

https://www.theverge.com/2019/11/14/...ads-how-to-get
so you think hulu with no adds disney plus wasn't good idea to do, and I should had done one with ads<-which not a fan of

it seems I have tonight Disney plus charge me for a penny 12.99 montly bundle I guess 6.99 will be dropped by tues I don't know

also do you this was right thing for me to do go ahead signed up for hulu and do Disney bundle so I already got Disney plus

instead patiently wait until dec 5th when that live tv on my brother account falls off, so that I will be able to watch hulu on new hulu app that got updated few weeks ago.

and have to handle log into hulu<-old app on my x800 sony bluray player for time being using his email and password

Maybe on season 2 they’ll make it longer. It’s not like it’s going
to break Disney’s budget by adding 15 to 20 more minutes if they
want people to get their money’s worth for the service

I currently pay for Hulu (with ads), I have no interest in ESPN+. Is the cheapest way to get Disney+ to sign up for a full year... I believe that comes out to less than $6 a month? So that’d be cheaper than the $12.99 Hulu/ESPN/Disney+ bundle? Personally I’m holding out to see if there is any kind of Black Friday deal since Hulu did the $1/month special last year.

I got 200mb/s Spectrum cable internet with no data cap so its a flat $70 for me every month. I have been streaming 4K, playing & downloading games, device updates, and streaming & downloading music without extra charges.

Then the less than 40 minutes runtime is actually the perfect length! You always want to leave the audience wanting more. And they've done a hell of a job doing that with this series.

I was an idiot and fell for the $12.99 bundle without realizing that the Hulu plan was the ad-supported plan. I hate ads! So, after I subscribed, I had to cancel the plan and will resubscribe to Disney+ by itself next month.

On another note... is anyone having trouble getting the 4K movies to play in 4K on their TV? I'm using a Sony Android Smart TV and it only plays the 4K movies in HD, not in 4K. I'm able to stream 4K just fine on Netflix, Vudu, GooglePlay, Amazon and Movies Anywhere. But it won't play 4K on Disney+. Does Disney+ not support 4K on Android TVs?

Do some cable companies charge for data usage? I pay about $50 per month for RCN Internet and don't have any data limit. So I can stream as much as I want without any extra charge?

I see little to no reason for most of them to not come out on disc at some point.

For whatever reason, smart TV Disney+ apps aren’t supporting 4K right now. Pisses me off, as I’m in the same boat with my Samsung 4K television. I’m planning on purchasing a Roku Ultra on Black Friday.

Some have data caps and if you go over, you're charged for what you use after that. I have Spectrum and never had a cap, but a friend of mine in TN had Comcast years ago and he had to pay for overages sometimes.

My LG app supports 4K and DV, so its certainly not all smart tv apps. The DV is the only reason I use the app on it instead if my ultra.

I dont have a data cap either, but I know people who have 250-1000 gig caps on cable and much lower on satellite or other forms. So a lot of people do have caps.

I hope they fix the sound issues, LG app is stereo only currently.

My system spreads a 2.0 signal over all channels, which is very distracting.

I want to watch more 4K movies, but I'm waiting for better sound....

I was expecting each to be in the region of an hour.

I'm disappointed because and it probably seems an odd thing to be disappointed about because obvious if they are that length for a reason but more is better.

Does it have fade outs (or whatever the name is) like broadcast TV for commercial breaks? I know the service doesn't have ads but I really dislike those on TV shows.

Also, I was told it has no opening credits but it has intro of various masks and droid faces like Marvel has the page flip.

Has this been added to the movies and other shows?

The Mandalorian Star Wars logo has only been seen on that show.

When I saw that Disney+ had 70 (!) 4K programs, I was super excited.

But then I realized the D+ LG OLED app is limited to 2-channel stereo only.

Having dialogue coming out of every channel (like YouTube) isn't very cinematic.

Now I'm watching only the stuff I don't own, like Black Cauldron & Black Hole.

Disney needs to fix this fast or I'm dropping it after the first month.
