I could text message you a picture of it, I just got a new laptop but it doesn't have any of the camera software on it that the old PC did, so until I find the dics and load it, there aren't any pictures. I know because I don't have the new Sony BDP pictured either. And I might get better reviews with the Beast in the photos.

Who said you needed a camera software to get the pictures out on your PC.

Doesn't it create a removable disk in your windows explorer then you can browse it and copy them to your HD.

I personally don't use one and I still get all my pictures on my PC.

yeah, the eD goes low and deep, I was at first having buyers remorse over not getting a Hsu VTF-2 MK3, but the eD continues to impress.... I was just in another room and they had a preview of The Pacific on HBO and in the other room, I could feel the bass like I was in the livingroom.... I really am falling in love with the eD more and more everyday.

I like having the AA also, it will get totally outplayed in some scenes, but it adds to the void that used to be on the left side of the room. Trust me Al... once you get a second sub, you will fully appreciate having 2 subs.

I need to get my camera back from my aunt so when I get it back I'll post new pics.

Also I put the C-C50 directly behind me and I use those black styrofoam spacers to tilt the speaker up. I also I have it sitting on it's side way. I took out the "Energy" decal and repositioned it on the bottom.

I watched Toy Story yesterday and so far I'm very pleased.

If I need to put it in the left speaker slot, I still need to run the speaker setup on my receiver right?

Yes. Anytime you move, replace or delete a speaker you should run setup again

Added a few pics of my 6.1 setup. The pic showing the rear surrounds, the middle speaker is the C-C50 used as the 6th speaker.

Well Done looks gooood bud

I hope you enjoy the C-C100 and the 6.1 setup. Tell us how it is when you pop a 6.1 like Top Gun or T2 in there. Even 7.1 like Transporter 3 will sound insane.

Thanks

So far I've watched Avatar, a couple of episodes of Band of Brothers, Fight Club, and so far so good. I might buy another stand to match the height for the rear speaker.

Default 6.0 upgrade to 7.0?

Guys,

In my Current set up i'm running the RC-lcr (center), RC-50 (fronts), RC-10 (surround sides) and the RC-mini CC (surround rear). My question is would it be worth it to add another RC-mini CC to my surround rears to help out the rear surrounds? Vanns has the mini CC for extremely cheap, all my speakers are in the rosenut color except for my RC-LCR, so I'm thinking it would match quite well.

7.1 tracks seem to be pretty rare so i'm not sure if its even beneficial. Thoughts?

thanks,

Thepope

I like the 7.1 setup for alot of the Lionsgate/Maple movies are 7.1, 6.1 movies, the receiver will enable the 7th speaker to widen your sound field. Now from your 6.1 to 7.1 really not sure if it make a huge difference in your setup but I like it.

Besides the wider soundfield vs 6.1 setup well I dont think it will be a huge différence but I it could make a noticable one depending on the room and speaker placement.

Passing from 5.1 to 7.1 I think it's worth it alot of discussions on this topic have been posted on this forum.

I have a question, I have the energy set C series and I was looking at some of your HT galleries which are very nice BTW when I noticed taht some of you lift you speakers from the ground. Is there a reason why you do this. In my HT (in construction as we speak) I will have carpet on the cement floor of my basement.

So why did you guy's do this and should I do or not do the same??

If you are referring to the spikes you scew under the speakers then yes I recommand you use them directly on your carpet without the metal discs provided.

As for harwood it allows you to adjust hight on each corner used with the metal discs for better stability unless your floor in perfectly straight it's a good thing to use them.

Then if you have a hardwood that is straight you can just use the sticking rubber disc.

And it helps to decouple the speaker from the rest of environment, much like a sub riser does for a subwoofer.

All I can say is wow after listening to Dark Side of the Moon SACD in 5.0 track on my Energy speakers.

Who ever can experience SACD listening should try it. Most of the newest Bluray players now support that media in high Res format as any cd player or standard DVD/Bluray will still pay the cd layer of the SACD but not in the HD sound format.

Anyhow I'm glad I took the plunge on SACD and i'm looking forward to more HD audio in the near future.
