Unbelievably fast delivery for Nameless Gangster 4K from Nova Media - dispatch email on Wednesday and it arrived today, with the “cheapest” shipping option (plus it’s not actually released until the 31st).

I am really glad that I bought the limited edition for Ran. Really is a impressive edition. The rigid slipcase that houses the inner rigid slipcase has a nice shine to it. It really feels like a release that Arrow or Second Sight would release. The booklet is great as well.

[Show spoiler]got The Big Heat last week in bubble mailer with cracked case, can't really see it in pics and it's not too bad tbh as on right spine

and Barry Lyndon arrived in plastic carrier bag today and that has a few light dents on corners worse is front bottom right corner

just spoke to customer service tonight and they said they could do 50% refund which would be £25
but then at end of chat they said they refunded me £50 total which is what I payed total for both
so not sure if I got them for £25 or free yet, will need to check my account in a few days, but either way not too bad

Borrowed from croweyes post number 7054 in that particular thread.

1. Corrected STM disc without glitch in the credits.
2. 70mm audio mix on STM in lossless.


With some other fixes on other discs in the latest boxset release. Bit of a pisser that the uber steelbook from two years ago has borked versions. I doubt there'll be a replacement programme.

I went for the silver one. It is heavy... and pretty big. Now I need a week or two to sort my room out and get it installed.

That'll be my semi-retirement treat to myself.

For context, I've been using my trusty Yamaha DSP A1 for the past 28 years. It has worked flawlessly, but it is showing its age now, and the lack of HDMI is starting to annoy me.
