Still waiting for a more credible source, especially since Richt was supposedly in a meeting with Virginia officials when the report he was going to Miami came out.

Edit: Multiple national media reporters are saying Richt to Miami is nearly a done deal and should become official tomorrow or Friday.

The hiring isn't official yet, so there isn't a press conference scheduled.

Edit: The press conference is Friday at 10 AM ET.

Richt's new job won't affect his buyout from Georgia, so he'll get $4.1 million in addition to the $4 million he's reportedly getting from Miami.

Interesting hire by Virginia. I always assumed Mendenhall was a lifer at BYU.

There's been talk for a couple years that he was interested in leaving, but I would have thought he would have eventually gotten a Pac-12 job and stayed out west. With the exception of one season at Louisiana Tech in 1997 he's spent his entire life in the west, so it will be interesting to see how he does at Virginia. Recruiting at BYU is unlike any other schools since so many recruits want to go there for religious reasons and often are in their 20s by the time they come to college due to missions. It's going to be completely different at Virginia.

For those of us who has Directv and has WHAS11 channel, if a new deal isn't reached by Dec. 5 at 12AM, it'll go dark.

I sure hope that they can come to an agreement cause I want to watch the UNC/Clemson game tomorrow night.

Man that offsides call on the onside kick was beyond terrible. I was really hoping for an exciting finish and the refs ruined my fun.

I also think Stanford should take Oklahoma's spot in the top four.
