Eh, I still get chills from watching the previous teaser and I've seen and heard and read and guessed enough of what the film will be about, so I don't need a trailer that spells it out any further. Another kind of abstract one would do me just fine.

I want 90 seconds of interpretive dance followed by C3PO painting a modern art sculpture.

Star Wars the Force Awakens will be out in 88 days, the countdown clock at Toys R Us tells me so

Sure, I get that, and I keep up with all the rumors and speculation and such too, so I also have a good enough idea. But the average person who's interested but not super obsessed could benefit from a trailer that gives them more of a feel for the plot and characters. I've talked to people who have a very casual interest in Star Wars and a common complaint about the teasers is that they don't really say much in that regard.

But then we get the people who always moan that trailers give away the whole plot, so the studios can't win. Well, they will win when Star Wars comes out anyway because it's going to smash it regardless.

To paraphrase Doc Brown, "in 88 days we're going to see some serious shit!" and we'll all be going back to the future, "a long ago in a galaxy far, far away ..."

Will he be painting it with his infamous robot penis that appeared on the trading cards back in the day? Now that really would be modern art, i.e. a load of old cock.

Ah, so that's why we never got shown the time it took the Falcon to get Bespin, they were checking out Threepio's "functionality".

Threepio hates space travel for a reason.

True enough, I'm sure there are many things that can comfortably remain secrets until the premiere, though. Snoke, for example, though I kinda expect him to be revealed through leaked concept art, toys and things like that even if the trailers and ads keep hiding him.

He's not a liar. Cumberbatch was playing a character called John Harrison for nearly half the film.

What else has JJ lied about? Something causing not cancer? Climate change? Something that affected your life?

Damn! Somebody needs a chill pill, STAT!!

He lied in interviews when he said Into Darkness was going to be a good movie.

Hey, let's talk score for a while. Who thinks Kylo Ren and especially the First Order will have their own themes. Or who thinks they'll keep the Imperial March?

For that matter...will we get a full score CD ala Episodes IV-VI, or a 'Greatest hits' ala Episodes I-III?

I'm surprised they dropped Shadows of the Empire from the canon. That was the "movie without the movie" multimedia event with books, comics, soundtrack, video game, etc. The big bridge between ESB and ROTJ. Oh well.

It's cinematic fun with a blah script, although his writing team is 18,000,000 times better this time around.
