Crota hard is an anomaly to me. We'll take the same fireteam that can do a full normal run in thirty minutes in to hard mode and spend two hours just at Crota. Sometimes we can run through 3 runs in an hour, then times like last night we spent about 3 hours and only had one successful run. A team that plays together often makes a big difference too, as important as the sword carrier is, if he doesn't know how long it's going to take to down crota it can be a pain, with the group I usually play with I know that he is going to get 4-5 Ghorns at almost exactly the same time so it makes the sword carriers job much easier. But, sometimes things just don't work right, sword guy runs off, crota doesn't kneel, weird things just keep happening....

Hunter before and still is. Hunter > Warlock > Titan

I have a new appreciation for Warlock. Looking at other warlocks it looked like a chore to play as them but I find myself having quite a bit of fun.

Hunter for me is fun in all events.

Warlock and Titan is more for Raids and Nightfalls. It sucks though because the nova bomb and the striker are probably the most fun perk wise, but the team usually needs bubble and revive so those perks don't get played as much when you are in a team atmosphere, at least for me.

It is awesome to just jump in the air and titan smash and kill a whole lot of enemies though

That makes me feel better. I know a few weeks ago I had the hard cp and you and your team helped me run it three times and we were done in like an hour and a half. I was amazed how quickly you guys did it. It was a well-oiled machine. I'm glad that those nights aren't always the case; I was starting to think we were missing something.

My biggest gripe with Crota hard mode is the waste of time just getting starting the Crota encounter by having to kills all the ads in the Crystal room. There's nothing too difficult it's just a chore and have to be careful to spawn the orbs. That's what's nice about Atheon if you mess up you re-spawn and you start the encounter right away.

At this point, I know that getting to level 33 will make it A LOT faster and then finally when I hit level 34 it will be even easier.

Teamwork is Key and having the same group of guys having done the same strat is also important. The run needs to be smooth as well and as soon as one little hiccup happens it seems to just mess up everything and you have wipe and start over again.

I have two Warlocks and a Hunter. The Warlock is my go-to for everything in the game with the exception of the Crota raid. If I can only take one to Crota, it is my Hunter by a mile. In every other scenario, give me nova bombs and self revive.

I'd probably rate them as Hunter > Titan > Warlock.

The Titan was my first character in my old PSN and then I made a Warlock first on my new one, followed by another Titan, and lastly the Hunter.

I find the Hunter to be the most useful, although both the Ward of Dawn and Fist of Havoc are incredible. Hmm...this is tough!

Hard Crota Checkpoint will be available to run around 1:30am est...A group of us tried last night and keep getting denied. 1 time the Ogres would not come out, until about 4 minutes past the normal time. Another run we got swarmed after the Ogres trying to leave the Tower....Fun games but Just Damn...

Yep. Still no Praetorian Foil, either. I also did get another Truth as a chest drop, but with one at 300, I'll just ascend that one. Lucky Raspberry is now the only exotic, DLCs aside, that I'm missing.

Still missing the foil myself. Only thing I need from vog now minus some titan armour which I have no interest in really.

I would like to do more vog raids though everything seems to be Crota right now and only chest saves for vog.

I wonder if all the talk of more to be found in vog is actually because there are story missions set in there?

What if people searching for a 6th chest or say to have glitches in to a new area actually glitched in to part of a new mission.

It seems that there is at least some part of the new dlc set in vog so maybe that's what that mysterious Vex gate is after the block jump. Something to do with the dlc.

Or maybe it's nothing at all

Of course he's selling Truth. I was so excited to get it as a drop at Atheon last night. This seems to be the way it is. But, I'm not letting it get me down. I've still got 2 more shots at Fatebringer before HoW!
