He's incompetent. He's a former baseball coach that is in over his head. His baseball even sucks! The guy he hired to replace him will probably be fired after this year.

I saw that WKU's head coach Jeff Brohm wasn't named C-USA COTY, which is a complete joke I think.

I don't have a problem with it. Brohm took over a good team and has made them into the clear top team in C-USA, but Todd Monken took over a complete train wreck with a Southern Miss team coming off an 0-12 season and in 3 years has turned them into the winner of the west division. I think Brohm would make a lot of sense for the open job at East Carolina, but he's got a $1.2 million buyout and that could be too much for ECU to pay.

IF QB Will Gardner transfers to WKU like rumored, Brohm will have another solid season next season.

Brohm I think will only be at WKU for 1 more season, he'll be somewhere else sooner than later.

Been ages since I've been around here but this has been a pretty solid NCAA football season, even if UCF had a horrific season. I'm actually working towards my Master's degree at the University of Miami now, so maybe I need to update the avatar to include a UCF/Canes logo.

Who'd they vote #1? I can't imagine either Miami or UCF being #1 in anything preseason. Or are you talking about #1 in a preseason poll of their conference? FWIW I think both schools made excellent hires. Frost should do well recruiting for UCF, an area O'Leary was always lacking in. Same with Richt, who is an excellent recruiter even if he's not a great game coach.

Thanks man. And what do you know... I'm officially a Cane now. FYI, I still live in central FL but I'm starting my Master's degree in Accounting at "The U" in January. They offer a top-notch program via distance learning. Been putting it off for 10 years and felt it was time to advance my career.

I was really shocked when I checked the forum for the first time in months and discovered not only Navster passed away, so did 'Groo The Perverted' who was another person I'd talked to on these forums for a long time. Both very young too. Nav was actually a few years younger than me.

Not sure how much time I can dedicate to forums like this come January between working full time and school but I'll pop in from time to time I imagine.

And as for the Playoff I'm hoping Clemson pulls it off. Though I don't have any real dog in the fight and I don't especially dislike any of the final four. You never know how these games are going to go after over a month after the last regular season games were played, as we saw last season when Ohio St. slipped in as an underdog and dominated the playoff.

As I said, I really think Richt was a good hire given his recruiting ability. It's about time the Canes dole out big bucks for a quality coach. Though they badly need to upgrade their facilities to compete with the nation's top-tier programs.

Not sure if you guys like recruiting but my Tigers have had a really good day today. 2 5* commit today with another 5* still to come and an outside shot at another. 2016 class will be very good but small. 2017 could be great.

Win 1 first. As my Buckeyes and just about every other team in the last 20 years has found out it is going to be very difficult especially in the playoff era to go back to back.

The offense is going to be scary next year. Williams coming back, Cain, RayRay, and the O line a year older, Feaster coming in at RB! Good Lord! The new football complex starting to go up along with success on the field is going to be huge for recruiting. This is going to vs reload not rebuild for several years to come.

Yeah, I think the ACC is one conference that doesn't benefit from a 4 team playoff structure. In the pre-playoff format Clemson would have been in the national title game this year and FSU last year.
