What do you all think about what's going on at Texas A&M? Losing 2 QB's before the Bowl game doesn't look good on Sumlin.

There are some internet rumors that Sumlin might be getting fired, but no reputable source is putting it out there yet. If true, I can't imagine they would fire him unless they already have his replacement lined up.

My Tigers suspend 3 for Orange Bowl. Freshman WR Deon Cain is the one that really hurts. Kicker Lakip also. Other is a TE that doesn't really play.

USC Trojans: USC promoted Clay Helton and gave him a five-year contract, but there was some reported interest in the then-Eagles coach. Kelly has had success in the Pac-12 and would thrive as a recruiter in the Los Angeles area.

LSU Tigers: The school came close to dumping Les Miles, and while Florida State's Jimbo Fisher might be the best fit, Kelly would be well received in the Bayou because of his dynamic offense.

UCLA Bruins: Things seem to be trending downward for Jim Mora, who may jump to the NFL if an opportunity arises. Kelly could flourish in the Los Angeles market and would inherit a top quarterback in Josh Rosen.

Auburn Tigers: The shine is off Gus Malzahn, and Kelly, while similar in style, represents an upgrade for what he did at Oregon. Plus, he would inherit players who suit his system.

Texas A&M Aggies: Kevin Sumlin's future is murky after two highly touted quarterbacks transferred this month. Kelly's success with in-state recruiting would make him an intriguing candidate.

Texas Longhorns: Doubts linger about the school's commitment to Charlie Strong. Kelly recruited the state well at Oregon, and his system is more aligned with the Texas high school scene.

Thanks the both of you, I'm thinking it'll be a good game, UL defense should get to or rattle A&M's new QB. If UL let their RB's run, they should rack up good yards given A&M's run D isn't that good.

Well Trevone Boykin just went from one of my favorite TCU players ever to my least favorite. What an idiot. No point in watching the Alamo Bowl now since Oregon should win by 5 or 6 TDs.

Wonder how the USC fans feel about the Clay Helton hire now that he ended the season with a 5-4 record since taking over for Sark. The media criticized the hire a lot, largely because it didn't seem like Pat Haden did any kind of coaching search and made a hire he could have waited until January for, and the team's performance against Stanford and Wisconsin isn't going to quiet the critics.

The point spread for that game shifted by 7 points due to the Boykin suspension. It was a pick'em, now it's Oregon favored by 7. I don't even know who TCU's backup QB is.

Wow, Charles Walker suffered a concussion in practice and will miss the Orange Bowl/Semifinal.

Oklahoma defensive tackle Charles Walker will miss Thursday's College Football Playoff semifinal against Clemson, reportedly because of a concussion.

Walker wrote that he would miss the game on his Instagram account, though said he would return for the national championship should the Sooners win. According to multiple reports, Walker suffered a concussion in practice on Monday and won't be able to play against the Tigers.

This is a big loss for Oklahoma up front, going up against a high-powered, Deshaun Watson-led Clemson offense. Walker had 10 tackles for loss and six sacks this season, but his impact extends beyond the statistics. The redshirt sophomore, rated as just a three-star prospect coming out of high school, has emerged as a difference maker this season and is a force in the middle of the line.
