Also, make sure to cross-reference prices with Amazon (and CamelCamelCamel), as more recent releases (say around mid-2021 and beyond) have gotten some deep price cuts from time to time. And that upcoming Kino sale, what is it going to be? As in, is it an ideal sale for their titles? There are a few Kubrick 4K releases I want to finally buy, along with Sebastien.

The next sitewide sale (including Melusine and partner labels) will be Memorial Day weekend (May 24th-27th).

I believe Altered Innocence is no longer a current partner label, and many of their releases on the Vinegar Syndrome website are listed as going OOP and marked down so you may not even have to wait for a sale depending on what you're looking for - https://vinegarsyndrome.com/collecti...rice-ascending

I'm looking forward to Indicator's Spring sale even more than Kino's. Their sale this past November was the first of theirs that I'd ever participated in -- the 3-for-15 selection was great (I ordered enough to hit the free shipping threshold!)!

But I'm not sure how much selection overlap there'll be with the last sale, if there'll be enough titles I'm interested in to compare to November's haul, or if the deals this time will be as good as 3-for-15. What should I be expecting, experienced Indicator fans?

Yeah, despite all their great titles, it does become a case of diminishing returns with Indicator. I often find it tricky to include enough titles to meet the threshold--although depending on your tastes, YMMV.

And someone can correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure they will!), but for the sales it seems like all the currently listed 3-for-20 titles are marked down to 3-for-15, while select LEs get their own standalone discounts. Great deals no matter what, especially if you've got some gaps to fill (and as long as you factor in the shipping).

Is there any Indication that there will be a sale this year? Last year they were giving plenty of hints but I have not seen a peep this year.

I guess it depends on where you're located (I'm in the US), but I ordered 3 titles--including a non-sale pre-order--that, with shipping, averaged out to $23 apiece. Everywhere else I looked--Amazon, Orbit, Diabolik--they went for $26-$29 each before sales tax (which is 10% here), so I saved around $6 per disc. On quality imports like these, which are pretty much always pricey, those are savings I'll take.

It depends on your POV. If that’s the primary site you’d order specific titles from, then you’d pay the same shipping fees either way. In other words, you get great savings on the discs but no savings on shipping. Your grand total is still lower.
