Alabama killed it again. Raked in five 5-star recruits and jumped to #1 on Rivals.com. personally I think average star rating per recruit is a better measure than the points system which values quantity over quality. In avg star eating Alabama is far ahead if everyone else at 3.87 stars.
UCF closed very well today. After mediocre recruiting until signing day they added some really good recruits, including two 4 star rated players today. Second best class in the AAC behind Houston, which I can live with. |

Watching the 30 for 30 on Colorado and it's just pissing me off about 1990.
10-1-1 is better than 11-0-1. Colorado should have been 9-2-1 as well, but they got a 5th down AND the runner was down before the ball crossed the plane but the refs still gave it to them. |

Yes, Tech should've been AP NC, too. |

Colorado also started the season at #5.... GT was unranked. Also, Colorado had a stronger out of conference. GT played one DI-AA team while Colorado played none. Colorado's opponents went 88-58-4 (37-39-2 in conference). GT's were 76-59-2 (44-35-2 in conference). I also screwed up my numbers earlier, because Colorado apparently played 1 more team than GT that season. |

But they didn't lose that game, they won. Stuff happens but the final result is the final result. Colorado was named the national champion by 4 of the 5 major polls to GA Tech's one. I don't think that was just coincidence. Hell, I might have ranked Miami ahead of GA Tech in the final poll in addition to Colorado despite their 2 losses. They had a more impressive season.
