LOL! I think that's one of the not so good things about Bloodborne. Madman's Knowledge everywhere. What for? Just to be annoying probably.

Great Isz, in spite of being Depth 5 was nowhere near as hard as I feared. Defiled Pthumerian (4) still takes the cake for now hehe.

That theme is awesome. Wait does it come with the guide? Either way, guide preordered. Game's just too cool not to have it.

Loving this soo much that I had a really hard time replaying Dark Souls. Went into Dark Souls 2 and the whole time I am thinking, 'this aint bloodborne'


I already dig the info on the loading screen rather than seeing just, 'Bloodborne'

1 for the dynamic theme (which is great), and 1 for the digital guide which isn't availabe yet.

If Insight makes the game more difficult with bosses and Frenzy (as far as I can figure out), and Madman's Knowledge gives Insight...why would I want it?

You can buy special items at the insight fountain at the main base.

I THINK madman knowledge is there when you already got whatever was supposed to be in that coffin ive played dungeons looking for specific weapons when the coffin had an item I already had I always found the madman. I may be wrong but seems like it to me . You wont get the +5 Rune twice, tried farming the same dungeon and location everytime i went back Madman was there.

On a side note, I justfinished Lords of the Fallen, LOVED IT!!!

What's messed up about that though is the offerings were not the same when I created it a second time.

I created the Ihyll Root Cursed & Defiled Chalice (Depth 4) as is with no offerings & found some good stuff. Closed Dungeon when I finished it.

Second time, created same Dungeon but added all 3 offerings.

The bosses are different, the layout & traps seem different & the witch with her crazy minions are there.

Actually I think I remember the other coffin giving me Ritual Blood 5 now.

When you start doing Chalices ... you will

I spent it willy nilly beforehand because I wanted to stay under 15 Insight at all times, but suddenly after the game ended and I got into Chalices I realized you can buy quite a few materials there and it is the only place you can get Coldblood Flowerbuds (aside from a limited small amount in Nightmare Frontier I believe).

For fun's sake, and taken from the Wiki, here is what certain amounts of Insight does:

0: The Witch of Hemwick will not spawn stalkers during the fight (not possible on first attempt). Use a Madman's Knowledge during the fight and she will immediately spawn stalkers.
1: Plain Doll comes to life / A group of Messengers appears in the Hunter's Dream next to the Plain Doll, granting you the Beckoning Bell and Silencing Blank as gifts.
15: Lamp enemies in Cathedral Ward will shoot projectiles. Scythe and Cross enemies' weapons have buffs. Gehrman in Hunter's Dream speaks when he's sleeping outside his house. Stalkers will spawn in Hemwick Charnel Lane, only after learning the password.
40: Lesser Amygdala become visible in the Cathedral Ward and other areas. This can also be unlocked by defeating Rom, the Vacuous Spider.
50: Hunter's Dream theme changes even before defeating Rom, the Vacuous Spider.
60: A baby's cry can be heard.

Gaining insight lowers Beasthood, lowers Frenzy resistance, and regardless of time of day (the story starts at Dusk and ends at Dawn) the more insight you have the darker it gets.

That's cool about the Witch.

At first I thought I was hearing the baby just around Cathedral Ward & Grand Cathedral after Rom boss. I went to Cainhurst & Old/Central Yharnam & also heard the baby.

If you start NG+ with 60 insight or more, can you hear the baby or does it have to be exactly 60?

Forgot Dungeons. (Will edit)

2 seconds faster to enter world from Hunters Dream.
1 second faster to enter Hunters Dream from world.

I like the item(s) description during loading window but they change fast. Kinda wish they left just one item description up instead of multiple.

Am now curious about which areas improve performance wise...

A good test of this would probably be a Dungeon which spawns the 3-4 minions from the Witch. Huge lag previously. Wonder if that's fixed.

Also curious about connecting with other players in other worlds...

I have never been able to join any online PvP or PvE in the game yet.

You mean you weren't getting raided every five seconds when the bell-ringing witch first emerged? I had someone invade my game every time I entered the Nightmare frontier. After a time I just started trying to recruit them...it never worked.

I never added Arcane Haze to the Sinister Dungeons & had not played them online yet.

I tried both options though in the story areas online. Either invade or help. I tried more times trying to connect to help then invade.

The invasion is a cool feature, but one I didn't know about until it happened to me. It was...well, it was an unpleasant surprise. I did enjoy killing them, though usually I was the one getting mopped up, since most of them were a lot higher level than I was.

My level might be a problem if there is a cap online. At this point seeing anything other then red or silver ghosts would be nice.

Question, do you have the Sinister Bell constantly searching to invade others for it to work?

I'll have to re-check them online modes.
