My 11 hour binge is over.

Completed 3 nightfalls (mask of 3rd man, HOW exotic boots, legendary sniper)

Turning in bounties , leveling up factions and just playing got ( 2 snipers, shotgun, 3 hand canon, 1 rocket launcher and 2 gloves)

Did the POE twice on level 28 and completed the story on two characters.

I think this DLC is a breath of fresh air and it's so nice not having to kill hive as much. The strike is pretty great but fairly shot considering you can skip the first part.

The last 3 queen missions are simply awesome though.

Sidearm is awesome too.

I need more vault space

Beating that Level 34 PoE...what a feeling!

Hug the left side, jump when you must to avoid the burning ground, and you're golden (especially if it's Solar Burn)!

My 2nd Gjallarhorn. 2nd Vex Sunday. Another Thunderlord and MIDA. Three of the new awesome Hunter cloaks. And awesome rolls on a lot of new weapons. Four new queens weapons.

Just beat Prison of Elders on level 32 and got the Kellbreaker's Gloves for my Warlock. Now he's a level 33!

Today, I got these guns from leveling up factions/playing the story mode/nightfall/beating Prison of Elders:

55A-Allfate pulse rifle (Vangaurd)
Deadshot Luna SR1 scout rifle (Dead Orbit)
The Fulcrum hand cannon (FWC)
Zero Point Lotp scout rifle (Crucible)
Vestian Dynasty
The Chosen sniper rifle (FWC)
Pax Totalus EPR8 rocket launcher (Crucible)
Wolves' Bane machine gun (PoE)


And I got the Dead Orbit shader Revenant for ranking up to level 9.

All in all, a great day!

Nightfall was relatively easy, and from a non-seasoned player perspective, I guess I cleaned-up with a Gjallarhorn, Last Word and Suros.

For me, that's three exotic shards...

Played for a couple hours yesterday after a 5 month break. I like the new stuff and Petra is kinda hot.

Only played a couple of the missions, though. I'm sure to finish off the story missions. After that, don't know how much I'll be hitting it up as I a, still embroiled in Bloodborne and just started Witcher 3.

Nightfall and POE and I think the Trials.

I got nothing but HMG yesterday and they all sucked except one . The only new gun I got that I will probably end up using is a rocket launcher.

Completed 1 character completely Nightfall and stories (soloed). The missions were pretty easy I thought even on lvl 32 and so was the Strike/Nightfall.

Im going to try and knock out another Nightfall today.

We did see a glitch where you can spawn behind the door of the room as you enter the tank. The entire team gets stuck in a loop of warping back to the entrance of the room after killing the tank. Even if you leave and come back. Stupid Stupid. We had to start over.

Also Watching a bladedancer trying to slice and dice in POE is funny. Way too many enemies to go out in the middle. I finally just let the guy stay dead until me and another guy cleared the room.

Yeah, you go down in to the treasure room and as long as you got a key then you can open the big loot chest. If you dont have a key then you get nothing as far as I could tell.

I wonder how quickly people are going to stop playing the PoE after the new wears off because of this. People in reddit have already played the 32 and 34 and didn't get key drops on either.

My guess is that many, many people are not going to farm the wolves events and chests for hours on end each week to try and find a key.

I get not giving a key on the 28 level and 32 level but it you grind out the 34 and 35 levels, that should reward you with more than a weapon core and an Etheric light, IMO.

that was messed up. glad we eventually beat it though. i had fun playing for the first time in a long time. didn't get anything new yet. (another pair of dance machines ) but thats ok. did 3 of the story missions so i'll finish that up tonight. if i dont have a key should i wait on POE?

im a little confused. do motes of light do anything new? should i be trading in for them?

Yup, it was really annoying, I thought it was part of the Nightfall at first where we had to activate something to proceed. Glad we managed to complete it. So yeah, a heads up, do not stand by the threshold of the door that opens up to the spider tank. If you get teleported there, chances are it will break for you too. Casey and I both got teleported at the beginning, so not sure if that matters or not.

Casual and I finished all the story missions, then headed to PoE and both got exotics from the treasure room. He got the Mida and I got yet another Icebreaker, we sharded both of them.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story missions, and PoE was a riot.

I snagged a HoW sniper rifle, shotgun, and rocket launcher. Will most likely reforge them all.
