I have no intention of using custom covers, but do pop by here to have a look, and just want to say to lomadu, you have an amazing eye. Most pieces you post I really like, and I can recognise your work without having to look for your name (e.g. Frozen cover above looks nothing like your "collection" sets, but I was still certain it was yours).

Just wanted to share some praise.

Feel free to laugh, but anyone know if there's been a custom cover made for a collection of the Bring It On films? I'm trying to put the 5 movies in one case and need artwork for it.

I was asked to post a photo of my entire Disney Classics Collection on the shelf, so here it is... Sorry the pic isn't that great.

And here's a new little batch I just completed.

Heh, too bad you can't fix the buttons to be something that actually makes sense with a cassette player.

No, I don't suggest you could. It's the original art that you used. The chapter/track skip forward and backward make no sense on a cassette player. It's not your doing, but rather the original art that you used. It's what all of us with the North American steelbook are looking at. It just amuses me, but it seriously pissed some folks off.

Well I redid Jurassic Park and I'm learning quite a bit. I'm having the time of my life with the cloning tool, but I'm still going between Paint and Paint.net. I still don't get how the stupid layers work, but I'm going to get this if it's the death of me. AND... as you can see, it is no longer squished

Big announcement everyone!
I've found a way to make it much easier to distribute my covers to everyone.
I've created a blog in which everyone can go through my archive of covers and instantly download whichever ones they please.

With this new form of distribution comes a few ground rules.

1. The blog I've created is password protected, so anyone
who wishes to have access to the blog must request the
website link and password via private messaging.

2. No person, other than myself, has permission to share
the website link and password. Don't give out the info.
Everyone that is willing to get the covers, are able to ask
permission themselves.

3. And from that rule, I ask everyone that uses the blog,
to please not share my covers. They are made available to
download and use personally. Please don't exploit the fact that
you can freely download all of my covers.

If everyone can follow these simple rules, then this form of distribution for my covers can work very efficiently.

You know, cassette decks DID have fast forward and rewind buttons. I'm not sure what there is to be pissed off about, other than the fact that the title isn't on the spine, the buttons are accurate.

I've made this cover for the movie Lucy, PM me if you want it:

Look more closely, They are not FF and RW. They are chapter/track skips. These did not exist on cassette decks because there's no digital information on a tape to allow you to skip to specific tracks.

This is skip. (Note the vertical line.) This is what's on the cover art and something that is not on an analog cassette player:

This is fast forward. What would have been more accurate representation of an analog cassette player:

The same is true for the skip backward icon. It's just an amusing oversight. Some folks, however, have lamented it, however.

Well done! The fervor over that oversight is amusing indeed. There are probably lots of folks who would rather you have designed the steelbook.

Lomadu is on a roll. Every day I'm coming on here and seeing awesome covers. Really like the Interstellar and Lucy ones. With some of the covers I see in stores these days, I think they need to start hiring some new designers.
