That's a great set. I got mine last month used off eBay. Hoping to get it displayed soon.

In some cases they are better than sideshow. Mandatory double box so you always receive a mint box. Sideshow makes you pay an additional $10. BBTS will replace parts for you too.

I drilled the holes for the wires to run out of the bottoms last week. I also bought a three cube organizer/shelf thing from Walmart that's long enough for two detolfs and deep enough too, to raise them up off of the carpet about 17 inches. I have foam weatherstripping to put along the edges where the glass door closes, and I bought some black adhesive shelf paper that I'm thinking about using, but I'm not sure yet. I think it would help better for the lighting, keeping it contained more in each shelf. I guess I'll just have to try it and find out. Maybe I'll set one up with and one without that way I can see them side by side and decide which I like more.

If you want a super clean look Jez, I can't recommend the lighting kits from Shamez enough, they're perfect. The wires are the exact length they need to be, the light strips run nearly edge to edge on each shelf, and the wiring is even gray to match the detolf metal frame, so it blends in better. Here's the link to the FB page -

https://www.facebook.com/sahmezlightsndecals/?fref=ts

It was only $64 shipped to the US for a kit for two detolfs, and shipping to the UK from HK may be cheaper.
funny you should post that link but like you ive been watching alot of vids on youtube the past month and this was what i was going to buy without even reading your post lol

Still waiting on mine. Got it on pre order from Collectibles Direct.

Waiting on a few items that have been out a while, C-3PO, Kylo Ren and SS Biker Scout, but this is from Order SixtySix, who get their stock from German suppliers.

I will soon be selling a brand-new 1/6th scale Hot Toys Alfred Pennyworth if anyone is interested please let me know. Thanks

Just a heads up, the mods will delete it if it's over $100. I tried putting a few Hot Toys in my existing sale thread a while back and someone must've pointed it out to a mod and Neoz deleted them. It's a stupid rule imo, but it's their rule.

So, we can't advertise our Hot Toys items unless we are advertising them at a loss upwards of $200?!?!

That rule needs to be adjusted to compensate for retail purchase price. It should be "any listing of $100+ more than retail pricing will be removed."

Yep, that was my complaint to the mod, I told him how much they retail for and he still said "take it to eBay" basically.

You should put your FS figures in the Sideshow Freaks forum. The mods here don not understand the value of a HT figures and HT collectors do not really frequent this site.

If there was a 2nd Hot Toys thread that is nothing but people's pictures!

I think it is less about understanding the value and more about limiting risk/liability to the users of this forum. Inevitably when a deal goes bad I can only imagine the PM's that the owners/mod's get about it and wouldn't be surprised to hear some users throw around the threat of litigation because Blu-Ray.com essentially brokered the deal and are some how liable.

I personally don't think they have anything to worry about but I'm not a lawyer and wouldn't want to get mixed up in any of that.

Actions speak louder than words. The "Create New Thread" button exists for a reason.

Myself? I'm just happy to get ALL Hot Toys info in a single thread (pics and otherwise).

I agree that's why the limit is in place, and I also agree with Kryptonite that this isn't the best place to sell them anyway, SSF would be much better. They charge $25 a year to be able to sell there, which is fine because I think it helps weed out the people that aren't serious about selling/less professional sellers/scammers.
